For last year, the closing rank for Integrated B.Tech. + M.Tech. in Bioengineering was 15216 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing year on year, it is advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission in IIT Mandi - Indian Institute of Technology.
For MTech, candidates need to visit the official website of GATE to register online. The application fee for male students is INR 1,700, and INR 850 for female students.
Eligible candidates who are applying directly to the official website of IIT Mandi, can pay the application fee for IIT Mandi MTech admission is INR 200 (General/EWS/OBC/OBC (NCL)/Transgender/Foreign Nationals). The application fee for Women/SC/ST/PD is INR 100.
The application fee for MS by Research/ PhD is INR 200 and INR 100 for General/ EWS/ OBC/ OBC (NCL)/ Transgender/ Foreign Nationals and Women/ SC/ ST/ PD, respectively. JEE application fee for boys is INR 1,000, INR 800 for girls, and INR 500 for SC/ST/PwD/Transgender category students. Candidates applying for MTech, need to pay GATE application fee for boys, which is INR 1,700, INR 850 for girls, and INR 850 for SC/ST/PwD category students. Only after the payment of application fees, the form is successfully submitted.
The total tuition fee for two-year course is INR 20,000 and the hostel fee (excluding meal plan) is INR 88,000. Total course fee will include other components such as admission fee, caution deposit, etc. as well. This fee is as per the first year/semester fees. Thus, the actual fee may vary. Yes, the technology institute offers M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering specialisation. Admission to the course is through GATE followed by COAP counselling.
