The total tuition fee for IIT Jammu's MTech programme is INR 80,000. This fee element, howevet, is sourced from unofficial sources. Hence, is indicative. BTech at IIT Jammu is available across seven specialisations. IIT Jammu's UG courses include 20% seats (category wise) for IIT Jammu + IIM Jammu dual degree program (four-year BTech of IIT Jammu and two-year MBA of IIM Jammu). The transition to IIM Jammu MBA is to be opted by the end of the third year of the IIT Jammu BTech course. Yes, GATE exam dates have been announced. The GATE application form gets released on the official website at gate.iisc.ac.in. The exam will be conducted online as a computer-based test for 29 papers. Students will be required to solve 65 questions in 180 minutes (3 hours). The GATE syllabus is based on General Aptitude and Core Discipline, carrying a weightage of 15% and 85% respectively. The schedule of JEE Main counselling will be declared by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority after the declaration of the JEE Main result. The counselling will be conducted tentatively in the months of June and July. There will be a total of six rounds of counselling and seat allotment which will be conducted by JOSAA. Students who will appear in JEE Main 2024 and will obtain a valid score will be eligible to participate in the JEE Main counselling for admission to NITs, IIITs and other GFTIs including IIT Jammu.

No, JEE Main 2024 dates for admission to IIT Jammu are not out yet. It is expected that JEE Main 2024 notification will be released in the first week of December. IIT Jammu placements 2023 concluded recently with an overall 85% placement rate. JoSAA conducts counselling for admission into IIT Jammu. The IIT JAM 2025 cutoff was released as opening and closing ranks across categories under the All India quota. For the General All India quota, the last round of the IIT Jammu M.Sc. cutoff 2025 ranged from 714 to 759, with M.Sc. in Chemistry being the most competitive for admission. In the first round, the closing rank for the same specialisation was 645.

For 2023, cut off was 7855 for General category candidates in All India quota for BTech in Mathematics and Computing at IIT Jammu - Indian Institute of Technology. BTech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

For admission to a BTech course at IIT Jammu, the aspirants need to appear for JEE Main and JEE Advanced examination conducted by NTA. Following the entrance test, the cutoff list is published by the authorities. Candidates who meet the cutoff score need to participate in the JoSAA counselling. In this round, seat allotment process is carried based on applicants filled in choices. After final seat allotment, students need to report at the institute and pay admission fee amount to secure their seat.
