For admission to the MSc programme of IIT Gandhinagar, IIT JAM 2024 Application forms will be available for the aspirants to fill out from September 5, 2023. IIT Madras,  the examination conducting body of IIT JAM 2024 for the academic session 2024-2026 recently activated the IIT JAM 2024 official website and also released the information brochure and IIT JAM 2024 Web poster.

The information brochure mentioned the start of the online registration for MSc courses in reputed IITs and NITs from September 5, 2023. The last date for enrolling oneself for the IIT JAM 2024 examination is October 13, 2023. If the number of applicants for the IIT JAM 2024 examination is less, they might extend the last date of filling up IIT JAM 2024 application form.

No,  JEE Main 2024 dates for admission to IIT Gandhinagar are not out yet. It is expected that JEE Main 2024 notification will be released in the first week of December. NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2024 exam in two sessions in January and April. The exact date of the exam for both sessions will be announced in the notification. • BTech students must fill out the application form for JEE (Main) via the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) (nta.ac.in). The application fee for boys is INR 625 and INR 325 for girls.
• MTech students are required to register for GATE through the official website of GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) (appsgate.iitd.ac.in). The application fee for boys is INR 1,500 and INR 750 for girls.
• For MSc, candidates need to register for IIT JAM through the official website (iitr.ac.in). The application charges for others is INR 1,800 for other and INR 900 for female (all categories)/ SC/ ST/ PwD for one test paper.
• For MA and PhD, students are required to apply via the official website of IIT Gandhinagar. 

The median salary for 2022 as per the NIRF report of 2023 stood at INR 11.1 lakh. NIT Manipur JEE Main cutoff 2024 has been released for admission to the BTech courses. Duirng the Round 1 cutoff, the closing rank for CSE was 25886 for the General category students under the AII India Quota. Among OBC candidates, the closing rank for B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering stood at 8750. The eligibility requirements for IIT JAM (Joint Admission Test for M.Sc.) did not involve a minimum percentage or marks in Class 12 for the majority of participating institutes. The eligibility criteria for IIT JAM are largely concerned with the bachelor's degree and the minimum marks or CGPA necessary to secure in that degree.

Candidates for the IIT JAM must have a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 55 per cent aggregate or 5.5 CGPA/CPI. Apart from it, candidates also need to submit a physical fitness certificate at the time of admissions. Candidates found unfit to pursue his/her science course can be denied admission by the admitting institute.

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 1 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2024 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main Session 1 score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analyzing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for JEE Main 2024 Session 2 examination.
