Merit-cum-Means Scholarship for General/ OBC/ SC-ST Category students:
Eligibility requirement of Merit-cum-Means scholarship are:
(i) CGPA must be 6.00 or more
(ii) Earned credits should not be less than 18 times the number of semesters registered for.
(not applicable on first year students)
(iii) SGPA in the previous semester must be 6.0 or more and
(iv) The student should have passed all previous examinations and should not have any
backlog or Fail grades.
(v) Should not have been penalized due to unfair means/indiscipline

IIT Mandi tuition fee costs around INR 44,000 – INR 8.1 L. This fee is exclusive of other components such as examination fee, application fee, hostel fee, security deposit, etc. This fee is taken from the official website. It is subject to change. Hence, it is not moderately expensive, and not very costly. The institute also provide education loan facility and scholarships.
IIT Mandi fees is different for each programme. Students have to pay the amount to complete the admission process. The fees has to be paid yearly/ semester-wise and is as below:
