The GATE 2026 exam for admission to ME/MTech/PhD courses will be conducted on Feb 7, Feb 8, Feb 14, and Feb 15, 2026.
A few more updates are given below:
- The JEE Main 2026 session 1 application correction window is open for IIT Mandi admission to BTech, BArch, and BPlan courses till Dec 2, 2025, and the exam will tentatively be conducted between Jan 21 and Jan 30, 2026.
- The IIT JAM 2026 exam date for admission to the MSc course is Feb 15, 2026.

IIT Mandi Fee Structure
Candidates can enroll for any of the IIT Mandi courses by paying the course fee. The fee for the available courses ranges from INR 20,000 - 8,08,000. The IIT Mandi fee is made up of a number of different elements, including the tuition, security deposit, and hostel fee. There are two types of IIT Mandi fee components: refundable and non-refundable. Commonly asked questions On Fees Overview
The total tuition fee for BTech is INR 8 lakh. This information is from official sanctioning body and can change. In addition, the total course fee will be higher as it will include other components such as admission fee, caution money deposit, hostel charges (if applicable), etc., as well. You also have to pay for hostel fee and one-time payable charges of INR 22,000.
The application fee for MS by Research/ PhD is INR 200 and INR 100 for General/ EWS/ OBC/ OBC (NCL)/ Transgender/ Foreign Nationals and Women/ SC/ ST/ PD, respectively. JEE application fee for boys is INR 1,000, INR 800 for girls, and INR 500 for SC/ST/PwD/Transgender category students. Candidates applying for MTech, need to pay GATE application fee for boys, which is INR 1,700, INR 850 for girls, and INR 850 for SC/ST/PwD category students. Only after the payment of application fees, the form is successfully submitted.
