The placement cell at IIFM Bhopal is well known for organising smooth placement sessions on campus. Currently, the applications are open at Indian Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal. Candidates can apply on the institute's website for the preferred course. Candidates for the Ph.D degree in Forestry must apply for registration to the Registrar FRI deemed to be university or through Nodal Officers of the recognised centers of the FRI deemed to be University. Aspirants need to pay an application fee to register for a course.
Indian Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal is a recognised institute offering MBA, FPM, certificate courses. Aspirants are first required to apply online for the preferred course. The selection for MBA is based on MAT/ XAT/ GMAT/ CAT/ CMAT scores followed personal interview. Admission to the PhD programme is through an entrance test conducted by the FRI. Admission to certificate courses is based on the merit of the candidates in the last qualifying exam.
IIFM Bhopal does not offer direct admission to MBA, PhD or FPM courses. Candidates have to qualify any of the accepted entrance-exams. The institute considers CAT, MAT, CMAT, XAT or GMAT for admission to MBA course. The selection for PhD course is based on FRIDU entrance test. For certificate courses, admission is based on merit of the aspirants in the last qualifying exam.
Indian Institute of Forest Management offers five courses at PG, doctoral and certificate levels. The programmes include MBA, FPM, PhD and certificate. PhD is offered in IIFM (nodal centre) of FRI Dehradun. Admission to most of the IIFM Bhopal courses is based on entrance-exam. Candidates can fill out the application form for the preferred course on the institute's website.

IIFM Bhopal PGDM students can avail financial assistance under Central Sector Scholarship Scheme of Top Class Education for Scheduled Caste (SC) students offered by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India and Central Sector Scholarship Scheme of Top Class Education for Scheduled Tribes (ST) students offered by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India subject to fulfillment of the conditions laid down by the Ministry.
IIFM Bhopal refunds the complete fee in case the host cancels the course. The host is not liable for any other charges that candidate incurred. The course fee for certificate course is INR 36,000. The payment of fee can be done in two installments.

The PGDFM course include summer internship programmes for the growth of the students. The flagship programme- Post Graduate Diploma in Forestry Management (PGDSM) comprises all the ingredients of a standard MBA course together with a unique extension to Environment, Social Development, Sustainability, and Rural Markets. Talking about placements, the highest package offered to PGDFM students was INR 38 lakh. The average package recieved was INR 8.5 lakh.

The waitlist usually moves from 2 to 3 wait list kindly go through the cutoff of the first list, if you are around that you may get chance in the second list

While there's no guarantee, past instances suggest there's a possibility of an extension. IIFM Bhopal has extended application deadlines before 17 February 2025, for the 2025-27 batch. The last date to apply for the MBA programs was initially February 28, 2025, but was later extended.
