    Yes, after you have completed your diploma you can get admission in engineering through lateral entry and directly into 2nd year.

    As per the AICTE order, it is invalid as all Civil Engineering course required full time study with 75% attendance minimum, as qualifying criteria for the degree.

    BE course is a complete full-time in-campus course. There is nothing like correspondence valid as per AICTE and UGC norms.
