School of Open Learning admission to this course is merit-based only for the students of Delhi University. However, students studying outside DU need to appear for an entrance test conducted by Delhi University. For SOL MA admission, students are also required to fulfil the minimum eligibility requirement set by SOL. School of Open Learning 50% of seats will be filled by direct admission (based on the merit of graduation scores) and the remaining 50% will be filled on the basis of candidates' performance in the entrance test and personal interview, conducted by SOL. 

The total tuition fee for School of Open Learning, University of Delhi BCom and BCom (Hons) courses is INR 1,500. The fee mentioned here is the tuition fee and does not include components such as University Student Welfare Fund, College Student Welfare Fund and University Development Fund, among others.

The School of Open Learning, University of Delhi offers a BCom course for a duration of three years, which is spread across six semesters. Yes, the School of Open Learning offers a MCom course at the postgraduate level. The post-graduate programme offered by SOL has a minimum duration of two years and a maximum duration of 4 years for completing the course. The SOL MCom admission process for the academic year 2022 is now closed. DU SOL admission 2023 is expected to open in the month of December for the PG courses.

DU SOL admission to the MCom course is both merit and entrance based. Candidates who are already a part of Delhi University are eligible to get admission directly on the basis of their performance in the last qualifying examination. Yes, MBA is in the new launched courses list of SOL DU. The PG course is of two-year duration and a maximum of four-year. Admission to the course is based on the candidates aggregate in the bachelor’s degree or the last qualifying examination. It is a distance MBA course. Candidates seeking admission to the SOL DU MA course, must have graduated with a minimum of 60% to 65% aggregate or equivalent with the relevant subject from the University of Delhi or any other recognised institute/university. This is the minimum requirement for the selection process as well. Moreover, aspirants need to ensure that they have the degree mark sheets and pass certificates at the time of admission.

DU SOL admission to M.A. in History is based on DUET scores followed by the release of list of merit lists. DU SOL admission 2023 to various UG and PG courses is based on merit in Class 12. Candidates who are seeking admission to DU SOL must have an aggregate of 45 per cent in Class 12 in case student is from General category. Whereas for  OBC category candidates must have passed Class 12 with 40 per cent aggregate and for SC/ ST/ PwBD students, they must have passed Class 12. SOL MBA tuition fee is INR 20,000. This fee is calculated based on the first-year fee. The actual amount may vary. Further, some other components may also be added to the total fee. The application fee for MBA is INR 500 for unreserved/ OBC and INR 300 for SC/ST/PwD category candidates.
