No, the CUET score is not mandatory for admission to the School of Open Learning, the University of Delhi undergraduate and postgraduate courses. DU SOL admission to UG courses is based on candidates' performance in their Class 12 examination. For postgraduate courses, 50% of the total intake will be filled by direct admission of the students of the University of Delhi. Rest 50% of the seats will be filled through entrance examination and interview/ group discussion if any.
DU SOL admission to the MCom course is both merit and entrance based. Candidates who are already a part of Delhi University are eligible to get admission directly on the basis of their performance in the last qualifying examination. DU SOL admission 2023 to various UG and PG courses is based on merit in Class 12. Candidates who are seeking admission to DU SOL must have an aggregate of 45 per cent in Class 12 in case student is from General category. Whereas for OBC category candidates must have passed Class 12 with 40 per cent aggregate and for SC/ ST/ PwBD students, they must have passed Class 12.
