DU UG 2026 College Preference Filling Started at CSAS portal: The University of Delhi has started the College preference and course choice filling facility on July 3 on the DU CSAS UG 2026 portal. The candidates can fill their course choices and college preferences till July 11. The DU will analyse all the permutations and combinations of the seats available in course, candidates opted for that course, college and category and release the simulated list of UG ranks on July 12.
The candidates will be allowed to change their college and course preference till July 13. After considering the final choices, the DU will release the first list of CSAS UG 2026 Seat Allocation on July 16. The university is offering 73 Bachelor's programmes and 150 B. A Programme Combinations.

What is CUET DU Preference List 2026?
CUET DU preference list is a list of colleges and courses in order of preference selected by candidates while filling the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) UG 2026 form. During seat allocation, DU will consider CUET scores, category, and the preference order submitted by the candidate and shortlist candidates accordingly. Candidates must make sure to check the previous year CUET DU cutoff to know the chances of getting into the desired college and course.

Candidates can check the CUET 2026 allotted exam centre upon release of CUET intimation slip and CUET admit card. Only candidates who will fill the CUET application form along with the successful application fee payment will be able to download the intimation slip for CUET exam. The name of exam centre will be mentioned on the intimation alip in advance to help candidates make preparations accordingly. The CUET 2026 admit card is expected to release three to four days prior to the day of examination in online mode. Candidates will be able to check the following details on the release of CUET 2026 admit card:

CUET 2026 exam was held in two slots. first slot was held between 9 AM to 12 PM and second slot was held between 3 PM to 6 PM. Candidates could check the exact subject-ise timings on their admit card.
To appear for CUET UG exam, candidates must make sue to follow the below mentioned dress code:
- Candidates must not wear long sleeve clothes.
- Candidates wearing cultural/customary dress must report at the CUET exam centre one hour before the reporting time.
- Candidates must wear slippers or sandals with low heels. Shoes will not be permitted inside exam centre.
- In case of any circumstances, candidates must take the approval of NTA before the release of CUET admit card.

Common University Entrance Test/ CUET UG is an entrance exam. It is conducted for admission to UG programs offered by various central, state, private and deemed universities. Candidates willing to take admission to undergraduation programme in streams like Science, Humanities, Commerce, Law and Management must appear for CUET UG exam when conducted.

How to Fill DU Preference List Through CSAS Portal?
Delhi University has commenced the CSAS UG 2026 phase 1 at ugadmission.uod.ac.in. In this phase, candidates have to fill the college and course preferences. Check the process below to know how to fill DU preference list through CSAS portal 2026:
1. Visit the DU CSAS UG 2026 portal: ugadmission.uod.ac.in
2. Login using CUET 2026 application form number and password.
3. After submitting the personal and academic details click on tab ‘Courses and Colleges’ tab.
4. You will see a list of all eligible DU college-course combinations.
5. Use the ‘Add’ button to include a combination in the preference list.
6. Arrange them in order of preference- drag and drop to move options up or down.
7. Click ‘Save’ and review your final list before submitting.
8. Submit preferences and pay the CSAS UG 2026 form fee.

CUET exam centre is allocated on the basis of the preferences entered by the candidate while filling the CUET application form. NTA allocates an exam centre as per the preference entered and is subject to availability and logistical considerations.

What Should You Select in DU Preference List 2026?
While creating CUET DU preference list 2026, candidates must consider the following factors:
- Preferred course first. Prioritise the desired course, irrespective of the college, as informed by Dean of admissions, DU.
- Choose reputed colleges offering preferred course.
- Include combinations of colleges where you are likely, moderately likely, and almost certainly eligible for admission based on your CUET score.
- There’s no limit to the number of preferences to add- the more options one fill, the better are chances of getting a seat.
