CUET DU CSAS 2026 portal will be active in third week of June 2026. National Testing Agency is yet to announce the CUET 2026 exam dates. Check the important tentative dates for DU admission 2026. Know how to apply for UG admissions at the University of Delhi and more details about cutoff here.

The DU CSAS portal 2026 will be active at ugadmission.uod.ac.in. Candidates who will appear for CUET 2026 exam can apply for DU admission 2026 at CSAS portal. 

CUET DU CSAS Portal

CUET DU CSAS Portal DU CSAS UG 2026 portal will be active in third week of June soon after the declaration of CUET 2026 results. Candidates seeking admission to DU colleges for its UG program must fill the DU CSAS application form 2026 when released. Admission to all undergraduate courses offered by Delhi University will be through Common Seat Allocation (CSAS) UG portal 2026. The process includes registering for the CUET counselling at the University of Delhi portal, filling the course and college preference form, and then the seats will be allocated.

CUET DU CSAS 2026 application form will be released online at ugadmission.uod.ac.in. Only candidates who will appear for CUET 2026 can register, fill course/ college preference and participate in seat allocation process. Applicants must ensure to pay the counselling fee. Admissions to the University of Delhi through CUET will be completely online.

Candidates can enter the DU course and college preference after the declaration of CUET results 2026. NTA will announce the CUET result 2026 at cuet.nta.nic.in in first week of July. Delhi University will conduct multiple rounds of seat allocation based on merit, percentile, number of seats and preferences filled by the candidate.

What is DU CSAS?

Admission to Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses of Delhi University is conducted through Common Seat Allotment System (CSAS) portal. Candidates who are seeking admission to UG and PG courses offered by DU must apply at CSAS portal to appear for the admission process. Based on the CUET scores and college and course preferences, candidates are allotted seats.

Q:   When will CUET DU CSAS portal open?
A:

DU CSAS portal 2026 will be actiavted at ugadmission.uod.ac.in. University of Delhi launchs CSAS portal 2026 in June. Candidates who will appear for the CUET 2026 exam can register at DU CSAS 2026 portal. Candidates will be required to enter the college and course preference and pay the DU CSAS registration 2026 fee to participate in the admission process. On the basis of the choices entered and CUET 2025 percentile, candidates will be alloted college and course. CUET 2026 result will be declared in first week of July 2026 at cuet.nta.nic.in.

Q:   What is DU CSAS portal?
A:

University of Delhi, Common Seat Allocation System also known as DU CSAS is a portal where candidates have to register after appearing for CUET exam. Candidates who are seeking admission to UG or PG courses of University of Delhi must esnure to register for DU CSAS. The DU CSAS registration for UG has commenced at admission.uod.ac.in. However, the registeration window for PG admissions have closed. 

Q:   How many rounds of CSAS are in DU?
A:

University of Delhi (DU) will declare three rounds of regular DU CSAS 2024 Allocation-cum-Admission Rounds and Spot Admission Rounds subject to availability of vacant seats. Candidates must ensure to apply for DU CSAS 2024 online at admission.uod.ac.in on before the last date to appear for the DU UG admission process. There will be no provision for extension of last date. DU is expected to open the DU CSAS portal 2024 anytime soon.

DU CSAS Portal 2026: Allocation of Seats

University of Delhi allocates seats to the candidates on the basis of the CUET score and preference filled by the applicant. Candidates can check the allotted seat by logging in at DU CSAS portal. Candidates can check the CUET 2026 DU cutoff for various courses and colleges. Candidate's dashboard will display the CUET DU 2026 cutoff Upon seat acceptance, the college will verify eligibility and documents within a specified period. Verification includes:

  • Candidate's eligibility
  • Program-specific criteria
  • Subject mapping based on CUET UG 2026 papers
  • Document authenticity

Before the CUET DU merit list announcement, candidates can choose to "Upgrade" to a higher-preference program+college combination, which will cancel their current seat if a new one is allocated. Re-ordering preferences is allowed.

Candidates who get upgraded must accept and complete admission procedures for the new seat. Failure to act on an upgraded seat results in cancellation and exclusion from CSAS(UG)-2026.

Candidates who accept and take admission must submit a 'freeze' request to opt out of further upgrades. Inactivity after admission means retention of the current seat without future upgrades.

To apply for DU admission 2026, candidates must follow the steps below:

Step 1: Visit official link provided: ugadmission.uod.ac.in

Step 2: Click on the tab 'New registration?' to create login credentials

Step 3: Enter the following details to create DU CSAS 2026 login credentials:

  • CUET 2026 application number
  • Date of Birth as per CUET application
  • Captcha verification code

Step 4:  Login with the credentials created

Step 5: Read the instructions to fill the CUET DU CSAS application form carefully

Step 6: Screen will now display the DU CSAS 2026 application form

Q:   When will NTA release CUET UG cutoff?
A:

National Testing Agency (NTA) does not release the CUET UG cutoff. Once the CUET results are declared, the socres are shared with the participating universities and role of NTA ends with the declaration of results. CUET UG 2025 cutoff has been released by the CUET participtaing universities seperatley. Candidates will be able to check the course wise and category wise cutoff. CUET UG cutoff 2026 has been released by accepting universities after declaration of CUET UG results.

Q:   How is CUET UG cut off calculated?
A:

The CUET UG cut off is determined by CUET participating universities seperately. Parameters on the basis of which CUET UG cut off is released are:

  • Total number of candidates that appeared for the CUET UG exam
  • The number of seats offered by the participating universities through CUET UG
  • The difficulty level of the CUET exam
  • Overall performance of the test takers (pass percentage/ score range, etc.)

CUET cut off is based on the percentile of the candidate. To calculate the CUET percentile following formula is applied:

100*Number of candidates appeared in the session with a raw score is equal to or less than a candidate/ total number of candidates appeared for CUET UG.

Q:   How can I access the CUET UG cut off list?
A:

Students can access the CUET UG cut off list only after the cut offs are released by the CUET UG participating universities. The following steps should be followed to access the CUET cut off list of universities candidate is desirous to take admission in.

  • Visit the official website of the applied and participating institutes
  • On the homepage, click on the link to the current academic session CUET Cut Off
  • A new login page will open on screen. Enter the credentials and submit
  • Now, you can access the CUET UG cut off list when released

The above steps will be applicable only if instittues release the CUET UG cut offs. Otherwise, if the institutes release merit lists carrying their scores, then the minimum score would be considered as the CUET UG cut off. Universities like Delhi University does not released CUET cut off. Candidates will know the college/course allocated on the basis of the preferences filled by the candidate while filling the application form.

DU CSAS 2026 correction window for phase 1 will open for already registered candidates. Candidates can edit the phase 1 DU CSAS 2026 application form once the window is activated. Check steps below to edit the DU CSAS phase 1 application form:

No, a valid CUET score is accepted for admissions to both BA (Hons) in Liberal Arts & Humanities and the BA (Hons) in Philosophy, Politics & Economics at JSLAH. 

In the previous year admissions, CUET was only listed as an accepted exam for the BA (Hons) in Liberal Arts & Humanities admission.

For admission to Delhi University, candidate must have passed or appeared for class 12 examination. There are no minimum marks requirement in class 12 for DU admission through CUET UG. DU may use the class 12 marks or percentage for tie breaking criteria.
