Delhi University Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) UG 2026: The University of Delhi launched DU CSAS UG Portal 2026 for admission to courses offered at DU colleges on June 27. After that, the university received applications for DU CUET counselling process. University of Delhi conducted the admission process in three phases: registration, choice filling and seat allotment.
There are 81,150 seats available in Delhi University for CUET UG aspirants. The DU colleges offer 73 Bachelor's programs and 150 B.A. programme combinations. Candidates who registered for the counselling process were eligible to participate in the further DU CUET admission process based on the cut-off criteria set by colleges.

What is DU CSAS?
Admission to Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses of Delhi University is conducted through the Common Seat Allotment System (CSAS) portal. Candidates who are seeking admission to UG and PG courses offered by DU must apply at CSAS portal to appear for the admission process. Based on the CUET scores and college and course preferences, candidates are allotted seats.

The CUET UG cut off is determined by CUET participating universities seperately. Parameters on the basis of which CUET UG cut off is released are:
- Total number of candidates that appeared for the CUET UG exam
- The number of seats offered by the participating universities through CUET UG
- The difficulty level of the CUET exam
- Overall performance of the test takers (pass percentage/ score range, etc.)
CUET cut off is based on the percentile of the candidate. To calculate the CUET percentile following formula is applied:
100*Number of candidates appeared in the session with a raw score is equal to or less than a candidate/ total number of candidates appeared for CUET UG.
Common University Entrance Test (CUET) score will be accepted by more than 200 universities (central, state, private and deemed) across India. On the basis of the CUET UG score, candidates are offered admission to UG programme of the participating colleges. Candidates applying for admission to UG programme must ensure to check the course eligibility criteria before filling the application form.
CUET UG language section will now consist of 13 languages instead of 33 languages. The 13 languages of CUET UG are: English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
Whereas the languages that have been deleted are: Arabic, Bodo, Chinese, Dogri, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Kashmiri, Konkani, Maithili, Manipuri, Nepali, Persian, Russian, Santhali, Sindhi, Spanish, Tibetan, Sanskrit.

DU CSAS 2026: Correction
DU CSAS 2026 correction window for phase 1 was opened for CUET registered candidates only. Check steps below to edit the DU CSAS phase 1 application form:
- Visit the official link provided for CSAS UG 2026: ugadmission.uod.ac.in
- Enter the DU CSAS login details:

DU CSAS Portal 2026: Allocation of Seats
University of Delhi allocates seats to the candidates on the basis of the CUET score and preferences filled by the applicant. Candidates can check the allotted seat by logging in to the DU CSAS portal. Candidates can check the CUET 2026 DU cutoff for various courses and colleges. The candidate's dashboard displays the CUET DU cutoff. Upon seat acceptance, the college will verify eligibility and documents within a specified period. Verification includes:
- Candidate's eligibility
- Program-specific criteria
- Subject mapping based on CUET UG 2026 papers
- Document authenticity
Before the CUET DU merit list announcement, candidates can choose to "Upgrade" to a higher-preference program+college combination, which will cancel their current seat if a new one is allocated. Re-ordering preferences is allowed.
Candidates who get upgraded must accept and complete admission procedures for the new seat. Failure to act on an upgraded seat results in cancellation and exclusion from CSAS(UG)-2026.
Candidates who accept and take admission must submit a 'freeze' request to opt out of further upgrades. Inactivity after admission means retention of the current seat without future upgrades.
