Review of Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University.

Placements: Getting placed in top MNCs is a dream for many of us. Many MNCs do not consider our distance education degree. They have mentioned in their eligibility criteria that they won't accept students from open universities.

Infrastructure: It is an open university, so you won't need to visit your study center daily. The hostel facility is not available in our college. The infrastructure of our college is good. Everything is good and clean. Computer lab is well-organised. Classrooms are clean. They have good equipment. Our college is Wi-Fi enabled. They provide computers for students to fetch the required information. The only drawback is our study center is located near the main road which is crowded. The parking space is very small.

Faculty: Our teachers are good. They take lectures every day in online and offline modes. The syllabus is good but still needs a little improvement to make students industry ready. Exams are conducted like regular university. Almost everybody manages to score passing marks.

Other: I would not recommend joining this college for an undergraduate or even postgraduate degree from an open university. It is a good college for working people who want to get a degree in the computer field.

It is not a good college for studying BCA.

Placements: No students got placements from our college because it was not a good college. I will not suggest this college to anyone who is studying in Mumbai.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was not good.

Faculty: Faculty members were not good. There were no mentors to help students. They were busy with their own work. They didn't conduct lectures on time. The quality of education provided here was not good.
