No, IIM Ranchi does not provide direct admissions to any of the IIM Ranchi courses. The institute has a predefined admission process that all candidates need to follow.
- The first stage includes meeting the eligibility criteria. Candidates can check eligibility for all courses here. After matching the eligibility criteria, the candidate has to appear for the respective entrance examination.
Note: Admission to Executive MBA is done through Personal Interview only. The candidates are not required to appear for any entrance exam.
- The candidates who are able to meet the cut-off are then communicated for the second round which is a PI (Personal Interview) round.
- The final stage includes admission offers for IIM Ranchi, based on a Consolidated Merit List (CML), which is generally prepared based on entrance exam scores, personal interview scores, and academic profile.
Yes, IIM Ranchi will be accepting IPMAT scores for admission to the course. The final admission offers are made based on a Consolidated merit list (CML) that comprises of following components:

Sure, a candidate can get admission to IIM Ranchi MBA at 85 percentile, if he/she is not a general category candidate. The IIM Ranchi qualifying CAT cut off for 2023 batch for reserved categories was between 40 percentile and 74 percentile. For general category candidates, the qualifying cut-off for IIM Ranchi MBA was 92 percentile.

Aspirants can join the IIM Ranchi IPM course after class 12. It is full time 5-year integrated course comprising Undergraduate and postgraduate management programmes (BBA-MBA). At the completion of IPM students will be awarded an MBA degree.
- For admission at IIM Ranchi in IPM, candidates are required to appear for the IPMAT examination followed by PI round which will be conducted virtually by IIM Ranchi.
- The total fees for the first three years of the programme will be around INR 16 lakh.The fees for the next two years will be equal to the MBA programme fees set for that year.
- The programme is designed to provide a multidisciplinary foundation borrowing from Humanities, Social Sciences, Arts, and Sciences. The programme’s cross-disciplinary business core builds on such a foundation. It comprehensively covers management, marketing, accounting, finance, economics, information systems, data science, and strategic management.
