The fee payment to appear for the MAT exam is mandatory. The AIMA charges every candidates examination fee at the time of form filling. While filling the MAT application form the fee payment is to be done for acceptance of the candidature. The MAT application fees have been increased and the revised fees are as follows: Paper-Based Test (PBT): INR 2,200 Computer-Based Test (CBT): INR 2,200 Internet-Based Test (IBT): 2,200 Both PBT and CBT: INR 3,800 Candidates are required to pay the fee in online mode I. e. through debit card, credit card, net banking or UPI. Candidates must note that the MAT application form will not be submitted until the fee payment is done. Key points to keep in mind while filling the MAT application form is that the fee is non-refundable and there is no provision of form corrections. So, in case a candidate has made a mistake in the form, they will have to register again and fill a new form by paying the fee again. To take a re-test also, candidates have to fill a fresh MAT application form and pay the fee again.
CUET PG 2025 city intimation slip is being released in a phase-wise manner depending on the datasheet. The phase one CUET PG 2025 city intimation slip released on March 6, 2025. Depending upon the candidate's CUET PG 2025 exam date candidates can expect their city intimation slip to be released seven to eight days before the conduct of the examination.
The CUET-PG 2024 advance intimation of exam city slip is the precursor to the admit card. In this document, candidates will only be intimated about the city where their CUET-PG 2024 exam centre has been allotted. The objective of this document is to help candidates prepare in advance regarding the exam day travel or commute.
Yes, the difficulty level of MAT exam is lower than other MBA entrance exams. The question paper is usually of easy to moderate difficulty level. The exam is now held for 120 minutes. There are now 150 questions in the exam paper. There is no sectional time limit in MAT which allows the candidate to plan a strategy according to their strengths and weaknesses. The score of Indian and Global Environment section is not considered for percentile calculation thus candidates don't have the stress of fifth section. Also, solving 150 questions is not mandatory so candidates can choose to solve only those questions which they know they can solve accurately. Sectional difficulty level of MAT is also lower than other MBA exams. Candidates can attempt the exam multiple times in the same academic year to improve their score. They also have the option to choose the mode of test - CBT, IBT, PBT - which makes it the most student friendly exam. Also, the MAT cut offs for admission are much lower as compared to other entrance exams.
MAT is one of the easier MBA entrance exam. The difficulty level of the exam much easier than CAT XAT or CMAT. Candidates usually prepare for CAT XAT and CMAT and use that experience to give the MAT exam. Even though the MAT has more questions than XAT CAT CMAT. It is easier because the questions of all the five sections include:
- Mathematical Skills
- Language Comprehension
- Intelligence and Critical Reasoning
- Data Analysis and Sufficiency
- Indian and Global Environment
These are easy and straightforward. There are less Reading Comprehension passages of shorter length and are easy to comprehend. Since, the Indian and Global Environment scores are not taken into consideration for MAT percentile calculation, candidates find it easier to crack MAT in 2.5 hours with high scores.
