Candidates have to apply and appear for MBA entrance exams such as CAT / MAT / CMAT / XAT etc. A separate application also has to be filled for the respective colleges where a candidate wishes to take admission. Colleges then release the cutoff marks for admission and shortlist the candidates on its basis. Shortlisted candidates are then required to appear for GD / PI and Essay rounds by the respective colleges. Colleges then create the final merit list based on their overall application and performance.
