What is CAT Login ID? Purpose and Usage
CAT login ID facilitates candidates to complete various exam related activities right after successful registration for the exam. Candidates can use CAT 2025 login to –
- Fill CAT 2025 application form
- Make photo correction in CAT application
- Select CAT exam centres
- Edit/view and submit CAT online application form
- Download CAT admit card 2025
- Download CAT answer keys and file objections (if any)

How to Create CAT Login?
CAT login is created at the time of exam registration. Candidates can create the CAT login from their desktop/laptop or mobile devices, but should fill the CAT application form only from the former. Given below is the process to create CAT login:
- Visit the CAT 2025 website: iimcat.ac.in
- Click on the New Candidate Registration button under the Registration tab
- Enter name, date of birth, email ID, country name, mobile number and then click on generate OTP
- Enter the OTP received on the mobile phone/email ID
- Fill CAPTCHA code to validate
- Once the OTP bas been validated, the CAT ID and password will be sent to you in registered email ID

Therefore, candidates are required to keep their CAT 2025 login details related e-mail and text message till the last phase of admissions. But in case, candidates forget the CAT ID or password for CAT 2025, they can retrieve their login details.
CAT result is announced at the iimcat.ac.in website. Candidates who appear for the test can download their scorecards from the official website by using their login credentials. The CAT result download link is made live about 20 days after the exam. Candidates can download their scorecards by using their login credentials.

- Visit the official website of CAT exam
- Click on CAT scorecard download
- Enter your CAT ID and password
- Click on the scorecard tab
- Download the CAT result PDF

- Open a web browser on the mobile phone
- Type the url of CAT exam: iimcat.ac.in
- Click on CAT scorecard tab
- Enter your CAT application number and password
- Click on the scorecard tab to open the document
How to Recover CAT Login 2025 User ID and Password?
- To recover your CAT 2025 login password, you can go to the candidate login page on the official CAT website
- Go to CAT login page
- Click on Forgot User ID/Password? A new page will open
- On this page, you need to enter the email address used while registering for the CAT and CAPTCHA security code as given in the image
- You can get a new image if you are not able to understand the text in the given image by clicking ‘Refresh Icon to Get New Image’ on the right side of the screen
- Finally, click on Get User ID/Password button at the bottom of the page
- You will receive CAT Login User ID/Password on your registered e-mail address
The final IIM admission result after IIM shortlist and WAT-PI is announced in April and May for all 20 IIMs. All the institutes released the final list of selected candidates individually and send admission letters to candidates on different dates. When the candidates receive the selection letter, they have to response via email or login link to accept the offer of admission and then complete the admission formalities within a few days

Indian institute of Management Kozhikode CAT is mandatory in PGP programme. But on other programmes, such as EPGP they consider EMAT, GMAT or GRE scores. Direct admission is not available with IIM Kozhikode, and so, the admission process cannot be carried out without a valid entrance score.

Yes, the CAT results for all the exam slots are announced on the same day. In 2022, the exam was conducted in three slots. The results of all the three slots were announced on the same day, I. e. December 21, 2022. In CAT 2023 too, the results of all three slots were declared on the same day. The slot name will be mentioned on the CAT scorecard. The link to download the scorecard for all the slots will be same. Candidates will be required to log into their CAT accounts and download the scorecard from student dashboard. The CAT result is declared in the first week of January but for the last two years, it has been declared in December. If the CAT convening IIM for 2024 follows the same trend, then the CAT 2024 result can also be released in December instead of January.
