Merit- Means Scholarship
IIM Ranchi launches Merit and Means Scholarship, under which scholarships will be provided to 25 students every year. Students in the MBA, MBA-Business Analytics MBA-Human Resources Management programmes, and Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) at the Institute will be eligible for the scholarships. The value of the Scholarships is around INR 1 crore every year.

Merit Scholarship
The Merit Scholarship Scheme at IIM Ranchi recognizes and rewards academic excellence among students enrolled in MBA, MBA-BA, MBA-HRM, and IPM programmes at IIM Ranchi. The Merit Scholarship covers 50% of the annual tuition fee for the students receiving the scholarship in a particular year. A total of 18 Indian students will be awarded the merit scholarship every year with 2 students from each year of MBA/MBA-BA/MBA-HRM/IPM (BBA segment) programmes at IIM Ranchi receiving the scholarships.
To be eligible for the scholarship, the students must have been admitted through CAT (for MBA, MBA-BA, MBA-HRM) or through IPMAT (for IPM) For the first year of each of the programmes where the scholarship is being awarded, 2 (two) students will be selected based on highest CAT percentile among admitted students of the particular programme at the time of admission (for MBA/MBA-BA/MBA-HRM programmes) or highest IPMAT score among admitted students (for IPM).
For the Second Year (MBA/MBA-BA/MBA-HRM/IPM programmes), two students with the highest CGPA at the end of Third Term will be awarded the scholarship. For the Third Year (IPM), two students with the highest CGPA at the end of the 6th Term will be awarded the scholarship.
Apart from Scholarships provided by IIM Ranchi, students are encouraged to apply for appropriate scholarships through the National Scholarship Portal and any other state government-provided scholarships.

The total tuition fee at IIM Ranchi for IPM is INR 15.48 Lacs divided equally in 9 installments. In addition to tuition fee, students also have to make following one time payments:

The total tuition fees for Executive MBA is INR 12.5 lakh at IIM Ranchi. Students need to pay a caution deposit of INR 10,000 and alumni fees of INR 10,000 at the time of accepting offer.

Placements: IIM Ranchi is a renowned institute around the country and it has a record for 100% placement. The highest package generally was 50 LPA, and the median was 19 LPA. These are as per 2024. The recruiters are from some of the top companies. The institute is filled with brilliant brains.
Placements: There will be no consistency in the results of placements. In the initial century, it is very easy to grab job opportunities while we study well with good percentage. But now a days it's not enough to grab job opportunities with good academic performance in addition. It is necessary to keep us updated with the new technology to get higher salaries. So team of placements helps us to train with various skills.
Placements: At our college, about 97% of students are enrolled in our course. The maximum wage is 29 LPA. The minimum wage is 7 LPA. The average wage is 17 LPA. Axis Bank, Tata Motors, and Microsoft were the top performances. 92% of students received internships. Top positions include HR and Manager, among others.
Placements: In the IIM, all the students of the MBA program get placement opportunities. Around 60-65% of the students get successfully placed at our college. The average package offered was between 5-10 LPA. Top recruiters at this college were Capgemini, Cognizant, HUL, Walmart, Flipkart, IBM, etc.
Placements: Actually, I do not have any direct knowledge about placement, as there are still 2 years left for the placement process for our batch. But, as far as I know, the highest package is around 25 LPA. As our seniors said in the alumni meeting, the college has great internship facilities.

IIM Ranchi is located around 12 km from Ranchi Airport and Ranchi Railway Station. It is around 10 km from Hatia Railway Station.
