Real truth of Amrita Coimbatore college, you can join this college or not? Is food nice or not?
Placements: I am the first batch in quantum technology in Amrita, so I can't tell the percentage of students placed as of now, but the dean of AI of our college predicts it to be more than 80 percent. Generally, Amrita has only 1 passed-out batch, so as per internal and dean talk, the highest was around 30 LPA. Many got good out-of-campus placements, and many were placed in good colleges for higher studies. Amrita is poor at bringing top companies for placements, but the quality of students was good, as I have seen them getting high placements in off-campus. Many got data security roles, HR, etc.
Infrastructure: To be fair, I consider infrastructure to be worth the money in college. We are getting good 24/7 Wi-Fi, classrooms with smart boards, personal desktops, and charging ports. Many say hostel food was not nice in Amrita, but for me, it's somewhat good compared to other colleges, I think. They may repeat the same menu across a week, but the quality of food is okay to eat. In the canteen, we can get non-veg, so it's also somewhat good, not perfect.
Faculty: The quality of faculty in the 1st year was average to good because they are assistant professors working in college, and on the side, they are working on their own projects and doing Ph.D.s. The syllabus was good, but we don't have high importance on the final semester. It's all in our group projects, interaction with all, assignments, and daily exams. So, that makes us industry-ready. No semester importance, just projects and their reviews, making us hands-on with hardware and software to apply to real-world problems.
Other: I chose this course because of the future scope of quantum. No extracurricular activities, as there is much pressure in academics. So forget about your extracurriculars when you join this college.

Overall, the college is good, but there are some flaws.
Placements: Students who do not have any back papers are pushing to get placed in S7 itself. Faculty members are very helpful to them. Around 190 companies come to our college every year. The highest package now in our college is 48 LPA, and the average is around 10 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good, with a big campus, and Wi-Fi is provided for every student. Lab and library facilities are excellent. Wi-Fi is available in hostels too, but it is a bit slow there. For food, I would give 1/5, not only because it is vegetarian but also because the quality is bad.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-educated and all are researchers. However, the teaching quality needs to be improved. They know the subject, but the way they convey it is not good. The curriculum for our stream is updated. There are some non-academic subjects like CIR, which manage placements and prepare students for the industry.
Other: While talking about Amrita, the first thing that comes to mind is placement, and it is pretty good here. Festivals and events in our college are not many. The clubs here are good. AmFOS is number one in India, and the other clubs are also very good.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2028
Offered by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham - Amaravati Campus
3.6
4Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
Faculty was average, students should learn on their own, infrastructure was good, campus was neat.
Placements: We can't say anything about placement accuracy because we have not yet had a single batch passout. This year, the first batch will be passing out. A few members got placed for now, so I don't have an idea about placements that much. Internships are going on now, less crowded, so we have chances to get placed.
Infrastructure: Until the construction, everything was so good, but the campus is under construction. The food was not so good, as it was not spicy. The canteen was so minimal that there were no available items, only a few items were available. You can order the things you want from outside food, Amazon, etc.
Faculty: That's good, not so perfect. Everything should be learnt by a student themselves. Semester exams are based on how your classmates are studying rather than on you, because of relative grading.
Other: No single fest has been conducted yet, some events will happen twice or thrice in a year, and the campus will be less crowded. No fun activities will be conducted like all other colleges, only minimal activities will happen, and that too rarely.

Learning and following the academic discipline.
Placements: Top recruiters are TCS, Cognizant, HCL, Wipro, Accenture, IBM, Amazon, etc. Internship offers the highest stipend of 1.25 LPA for engineering students. Median/average for B.Tech is 9.2 LPA. This is the first pass out batch. This is the required information.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi covers all academic blocks and hostels. All hostels and academic blocks are covered by the network Wi-Fi. The campus has departmental labs with basic lab necessities for many courses. The required labs, classrooms, and library are available.
Faculty: The faculty members at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amravati, are highly qualified, experienced, and very supportive. Most professors hold postgraduate or doctoral degrees from reputed universities in India and abroad. They are knowledgeable in their respective domains and are always ready to assist students beyond classroom hours.

One of the good and decent organizations.
Placements: Jubilant Life Sciences, Pidilite Industries, Asian Paints, and SRF Limited are a few of the recruiters from the disciplines of Chemistry, with moderate and the highest packages for various challenging roles, basically below 4.2 LPA. Approximately 49 to 52 percent of students got recruited from our discipline.
Infrastructure: The college not only takes part in the students' career development, but they plays a major role in developing students with good manners and disciplined behavior, truly responsible for creating good humans in society. The college was a great pillar of support to the students at all times. The college had developed various initiatives for creating a successful career path for everyone.
Faculty: Professors are well-experienced in their subject matter, and they expect higher pay for their services. Professors are responsible for the induction of various webinars and workshops, mostly relevant to the current subject and their updates, by top professionals and experts from various top institutions.

Amrita Kochi, a college good for academics but not for extracurricular activities.
Placements: Basically, about 70–80 percent of students get placed. The highest package is 9 LPA, and the lowest is not known for my course. Top companies include Deloitte, TCS, etc. The top roles offered involve management roles, positions in the HR department, and similar profiles. Internships need to be arranged by ourselves, we have to ask and apply for internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: All the facilities like computer labs, Wi-Fi, and classrooms are good. However, when it comes to sports, the facilities are limited. There is a ground, but it is not accessible for college students, it’s only for school students. The quality of the hostel and food is great so far, but since there is a temple inside the campus, non-vegetarian food is not allowed.
Faculty: The teachers are really helpful, well-qualified, and friendly. They clarify doubts and ensure concept clarity. B.Com Fintech is a newly introduced subject, so I feel the curriculum is relevant. Almost 90 percent of the students pass out successfully, unless there are arrears, passing is quite easy.
