The Central Board of Secondary Education announced the CBSE class 12 exam date sheet 2025-26 on its website. According to the announced schedule, the CBSE Board class 12th exam 2026 will be conducted between February 17 and April 10, 2026, in pen and paper format. The CBSE Class 10 Physics exam 2026 will be held on February 20, 2026.

The questions asked in CBSE 10th, 12th board exams are taken from NCERT textbooks. The questions are based on concepts and exercises included in these books or may be slightly modified versions of them. Further, questions from previous years' ques papers and, in some cases, the NCERT Exemplar problems for Science and Mathematics are also included.
There is no negative marking in CBSE Class 12 exam. Students must score 33% aggregate marks to pass the examination. In addition, it is also required to secure at least 33% marks in each subject.
If you are not satisfied with the marks, you can apply for revaluation or rechecking of the paper. The marks awarded after the rechecking/revaluation shall be considered as the final marks. Then a new marksheet will be issued to you thereafter.
In the Accountancy subject, the CBSE Board has decided to do away with the answer books wherein tables were provided for the subject of Accountancy.

- While preparing for the CBSE class 12 Physics paper, students must practice the NCERT book. Students need to practice each topic included in the NCERT books. Apart from that, students must not forget to practice other reference books.
- Once you have selected the reference books, you need to focus on clearing all your doubts before the exam. You need to clear your concepts for each topic before appearing for the exams.
- Students are also suggested to solve the previous years' CBSE 12th sample papers within the stipulated time.
CBSE Class 12 Physics Sample Paper 2025-26 – General instructions
The CBSE Class 12 Physics Sample Question Paper includes the following general instructions that should be followed by the student.
- Students will be provided 15 minutes of extra time to read before they are provided with the question paper
- The Question Paper contains five sections.
