Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Scholarships 2026
Students who apply for admission at this institute are evaluated for course selection as well as scholarships at the same time. Exact amount of scholarship can vary based on exact scores submitted during Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham application process. Eligibility Criteria for Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Scholarships
Minimum criteria for scholarships vary from course to course. If students are applying for a course with merit based admission, a minimum of 70% aggregate in last qualifying exam is required to be eligible for Amrita University scholarship. For course with entrance based admission, the same aggregate will be required in accepted entrance exams. Only students who manage to secure their Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore admission will be considered for scholarship benefits.
Scholarship Amount and Benefits
Students who are selected for Amrita University scholarships will be offered tuition fee waivers only. This waiver will be adjusted with tuition fees payable in first year. No scholarship benefit is applicable on other fee types payable by a student. There are four slabs of scholarship amounts offered to students which offer different percentage of tuition fee waiver. A student's slab is determined by their exact score submitted during admissions.

- Merit-cum-Means Based Scholarships: Students from minority communities with family income below ₹2,50,000 per annum. Students are offered INR 48,000 per annum if selected.
- Prime Minister’s Scholarship Scheme: Children of deceased or disabled personnel of Armed Forces and Paramilitary Forces.
- Central Sector Scholarship Scheme for College and University Students: Graduate and post-graduate students who have scored a minimum of 80% in Class 12. Students can secure upto INR 1,000 per month for 10 months in an academic year.

I just know that some students have done internships at Google.
Placements: So, the total percentage of students placed in my college is 90–95%. The highest package is reported to be 65 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. The average is said to be around 6–11 LPA. The top recruiters are Bosch, Dell, Intel, Cisco, TCS, Microsoft, L&T, and Flipkart. Around 40–50% of students in my course got internship offers. Infosys is the leading company. The top roles offered in my course are Product Manager, Electronics Engineer, Communication Engineer, Software/IT roles, and Hardware Engi...
Placements: Placements are good for the engineering branch. For physical sciences, placements are moderate. Mostly MNCs like Infosys and TCS used to come. I come from the CS and IT field, so companies come for software roles and rarely for out-of-domain roles like data analyst.
Placements: Companies looked for skilled candidates with certified courses and skills like GMP, GLP, and ChemDraw, which were mandatory. So, placement concentrated on providing such skills rather than picking up companies for recruitment. Approximately 49-56% of recruitment came from companies like KELTRON, Pidilite Industries, and Monsanto.
Placements: About 60 percent of students got placed in the AI department. The lowest package is 4 LPA while the highest is 30 LPA. Amazon, NetApp, and Guidewire are a few of the top companies hiring in our course. 70 percent of the students got internship. Top roles are like data analyst and software engineer.
Placements: The placement cell is helpful and provides training programs, aptitude classes, and mock interviews. The campus has opportunities with several companies every year in the IT sector as well as the core sector. Those students who prepare properly and have good academic records have relatively good chances of getting placed. Placements are good.
