It is the best certification course for computational linguistics aspirants.
Placements: Most of the students got placed in major software companies which deal with Indian languages and linguistics. The professor in charge, Prof. Girish Nath Jha, has good contacts with MNCs like Google, Amazon, Microsoft etc. Students can get packages varying from 3 lakhs per annum to 12 Lacs per annum. Students get roles of annotators, linguists, corpus developers etc.
Infrastructure: We have good labs, conference and seminar halls. Labs have sufficient systems for students. Air-conditioning is available in labs and halls. The hostel is not available as it's a part-time course. But if you are doing a regular course in JNU simultaneously, then you'll definitely get hostel allocation. The hostel fee is very low.
Faculty: Our faculty are among the prominent computational linguists in our country. As the in charge of this course, he makes students explore and know a lot. He has currently joined CSTT of MoE as its chairman. Students have huge job opportunities.
