My college life at JNU as a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) student.
Placements: 25 students get placements out of 30 in our course. The highest package that students receive is Rs. 80,000, and the lowest is Rs. 50,000. There are some famous embassies that recruit them. At most, 80% get the internship as they maintain their curriculum, including translation, radio, and professors.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. We even have a barrack, which is recently built as a new building for students, with new facilities and accommodation. There is Wi-Fi in every hostel and even in academic blocks. There is a canteen in every academic block, and the library is close to the academic blocks, so it is easy for everyone to go and study there. The library offers a wide variety of books for students. The quality of food and infrastructure is well maintained. There are various sports played, and many competitions are there for students' betterment.
Faculty: The staff and the curriculum for these students are really good and up to mark, as professors help students whenever needed. Even though the curriculum has now been extended, and so has the degree still, professors help in every possible and make it easy for students to learn things easily.
Other: I want to learn a new language that is unique. My batch is very friendly and active. We participate in various activities and work collectively. We even celebrate Women’s Day together, and fresher’s event is also well-organized by our seniors, which helps us a lot.

JNU: A happening college.
Placements: In my course, out of 48 students around 30 got placed. The highest package is 14 LPA. The average is 7 LPA. The lowest is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Flipkart, and some top private schools. For internships, you've to apply off-campus and many students have done that. The role offered is of interpreter mostly.
Infrastructure: At LLC, our classes take place. We have a projector and sound system. The room is soundproof. We have AC. The infrastructure is good. Wi-Fi is available. Our central library is very good with a huge seating capacity. The mess food is good. We have a gym in the hostel. Wi-Fi is also there. We have a badminton court and canteen.
Faculty: Teachers are very good and cooperative. They don't let any students fall behind and focus on each child. The curriculum is relevant. Teachers teach in a happening and manner relating it to real circumstances and exams aren't too tough. The passing percentage is 33%.
Other: The fee is too low. They provide a hostel that too at an affordable price. Campus life is awesome, especially the nightlife. It is good for academics and overall development.

If one has no option, then come to this college.
Placements: It is my first year but I know seniors who got placements last year with salary package of 10 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 33 LPA, but it was an off-campus placement. I also know a second-year student who is doing an internship at MNIT Jaipur and has received offers for an internship from IIT Delhi.
Infrastructure: The course and hostel infrastructure available here are very bad because there is no building for classes on this campus. We have been living in a dormitory for four months and have not been assigned a hostel. New hostels and buildings for engineering students are under construction.
Faculty: Some teachers are very helpful but others are not. Teachers have very little experience but their qualifications are good, though not 100%. Semester exam level is normal and some teachers give questions directly from notes. Pass percentage is approximately 85.
Other: I want to share that if one really wants to do computer science, try not to come to this college. If one has no option, then one can come.

Good for exploration and college life but not so good for placements.
Placements: Since engineering started in JNU in 2018, there was something problem with placements. The first batch passed in 2023 and their record was the highest 33 LPA off-campus and 16 LPA on-campus. The average package is 12 LPA. Placement percentage is 70% and top companies are Infosys, etc.
Infrastructure: Hostel is quite good and free of cost. But since engineering started in 2018 there has been no permanent building of school of engineering. But government approved making new buildings and construction of new buildings is well ongoing and expected date for opening new buildings is January 2026.
Faculty: Faculty members are quite good. All the teachers belong to well reputated college. There is no attendance policy in JNU so it is also one of the most important things. Semester exams are not quite difficult to qualify but for scoring high CGPA is difficult.
Other: I chose JNU because my rank in JEE was 34k and I wanted CSE as per my rank. This is the best college because it gives high networking from people and exploration.

The best university for history subjects.
Placements: College students are provided with jobs in various government and private institutions. Their maximum salary is 5 lacs, and their minimum salary is 2.5 lacs per annum. They are working in different archaeologists and different archeology offices. They are also teaching in different schools and colleges.
Infrastructure: Our college is very big and attractive. There are separate hostels for the students, and different places have been created for studying. The classrooms are separate, and each class has a projector and Wi-Fi. There is a large library and a quiet reading area with it.
Faculty: Various curriculum activities and various examinations are conducted in our college. The teachers here are very helpful, educated, and skilled. They try to improve our studies in various ways. The examination system here is a semester system, and the pass rate is more than 90%.

Course of ECE is not good but very beautiful campus with a great engaging and good campus life.
Placements: For B.Teach in ECE course, Our School never provided any placements, Few ECE batch students were placed as Software Engineer, which they did by themselves. The highest package offered was 6.5 LPA in our batch. Amdocs took most of the students from School of Engineering, other companies rarely placed anyone in ECE batch. Very rarely any ECE student did any internship, those who did was as software engineer intern and often they went out of campus for that. For our course, no roles were offered. Most of the students went For GATE/NET or government job preparations.
Infrastructure: We had building in tin shade, where classes used to run, now a new building is under construction for school of engineering. Classrooms were beautiful, well prepared with all facilities from AC to Mic and projector etc. Hostels are very old, few are clean and good and few are very dirty with broken furniture, windows. Food quality is normal, neither very good food nor very bad. You can eat. Canteen, medical facilities are quite good, you get canteen upto 3 am in morning and free medicine and sports facilities have also been good, one student recently played paralympics in Paris.
Faculty: Few faculty members were very highly knowledgeable, other were very poor! All they could do was to read ppts in class, were unable to answers questions in class put up by students, I'll rate teaching 3.5-4/5, the course was totally relevant except we never got industry experience in school. The exams were moderate tough except for exams of professors like Rakesh patney, who used to fails 80-90% students in class. In other subject 80-85% passes the exam.
Other: I chose this course because I belonged to poor family, my parents were unable to afford high feels institutions and JNU provide fee rebate on Financial Standards besides JNU is a brand in Itself. Best thing about ECE course is that It gives you a lot of time free, so that you can do thing of your interest or prepare for exams or build skills, plus JNU campus gives you very good exposure to Indian Politics. I wished the faculty members to be more helping and kind towards students as they are very rude. Fests/events/extracurricular activities are happening now.
