The exam will be conducted between May 21 to May 31. CUET PG 2023 exam dates have been announced by NTA. Considered one of India’s top-ranked universities for postgraduate and research studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) is a public central university that has been given the status of ‘University of Excellence' by the UGC. JNU Courses and Fees 2023
Currently, JNU comprises nearly 20 schools and centres of study offering over 100 courses with a wide range of specialisations. These courses are offered in various streams such as Arts, Technology, Management, Science, etc. at UG, PG and doctorate levels. JNU offers BA (Hons) and BTech at UG level and MA, MSc, MTech and MBA at PG level. It also offers several PhD and integrated programmes. For a majority of UG programmes, candidates are required to have a valid score in Class 12 (or equivalent) as the basic criteria, while for PG courses, a bachelor's degree in a relevant stream is a mandatory requirement. Also, the duration of most other UG courses ranges between three and five years, however, the PG courses are mostly offered for a duration of two years. Students can also opt for admissions in distance learning courses offered by this university. JNU offers a number of scholarships to deserving students with the motive of extending financial aid and promoting educational opportunities. Some of the top scholarships offered by JNU are enlisted below:
- Merit-cum-means Scholarships: Granted to meritorious students from weaker sections of the society
- Ford Foundation Scholarships: School of International Studies grants INR 700 per month to meritorious students taking admissions in the MA programme

JNU Infrastructure
Spread across 1,019 acres of land, JNU provides state-of-the-art infrastructure to the students. From the library to e-learning rooms, JNU comprises all the basic and modern amenities. Some of these facilities provided by JNU include labs, seminar rooms, a university convocation centre, hostels, a mess, a cafeteria, a sports complex, a convenience store, etc. A few of the infrastructural USPs offered by JNU are discussed below:
- Library: The library of JNU is stocked with more than 6.3 lakh books, 5,000 titles, and around 1,600 CDs, journals, and reports. The JNU library consists of a central library that provides students and faculty members with easy access to the course and reference materials through a membership card.
- Hostel and Mess: JNU comprises 18 hostels, including 3,831 beds for boys and 3,005 beds for girls. It also offers around 86 Co-ed beds. The University currently provides residence to more than 5,000 students and faculty members. Along with the accommodation, the varsity also offers mess facilities to the students that can be availed by submitting a preference of meal at the time of admission.
