Candidate must have completed MSc in Food Tech/MTech in Food Technology with OCPA of 7 out of 10 or 70% and BSc/ BSc Hons in Agriculture/ BSc Horticulture/ B. Tech. Food Technology/ B.Sc. Food Science and/or Food Technology (4-year) /B.Sc. Home Sc./ B.Sc. (Hons) Community Sc. (4-year)/B.Sc. Nutrition and Dietetics with OCPA of 6.00 out of 10.00 or 60% marks or equivalent at Bachelor's level.For inservice and ICAR candidates, OCPA of 6.50 out of 10.00 or equivalent at the M.Sc. level and OCPA of 5.50 out of 10.00 or an OGPA of 2.00 out of 4.00 or equivalent at the Bachelor's level.An inservice candidate shall be an employee of PAU or Punjab Govt. or Union Territory of Chandigarh having at least five years experience of Teaching/ Research/ Extension out of which at least three years should be after obtaining M.Sc. degree on the last date of receipt of applications.
