    A review of my favorite college.
    Placements: Around 80% of students secure job placement through campus interviews, while the remaining 20% find opportunities through off-campus interviews. Internship opportunities are not provided by the college as a standard practice. Instead, students are encouraged to seek internships independently or with guidance from faculty members. Occasionally, the college facilitates internships when approached by companies; for example, ITC offered internships with a stipend of Rs 5000.
    Infrastructure: The hostel accommodations offer generously sized rooms for two students each, equipped with two beds and two fans. The rooms are meticulously maintained, and hygiene standards are upheld. Each floor boasts 20 bathrooms and restrooms for residents' convenience. Priority for hostel location is given to applicants residing farther from Chennai due to limited seating availability. The annual rental fee is set at an average of 10,000 rupees, while the monthly mess bill is payable separately.
    Faculty: The faculty members in our department are highly qualified, with all holding M.Phil. and Ph.D. degrees. They are deeply committed to delivering comprehensive education by not only covering the syllabus but also incorporating industry-relevant insight into their teaching. They engage students with various activities to enhance their understanding of the subjects. However, the department faces a shortage of staff members, leading to the recruitment of guest faculty members to teach certain subjects. Despite this drawback, the faculty members are praised for their expertise and dedication to teaching.

    Top notch teaching and industry preparation.
    Placements: Madras University has good placements. The highest package offered is 12 LPA; the lowest is 4 LPA, with an average of 7 LPA. Top recruiters include Deloitte, ICICI Bank, and HDFC. 70% of students secure internships. The top roles offered are financial analyst and investment banker.
    Infrastructure: The course offers good infrastructure with Wi-fi, well-equipped labs, spacious classrooms, and a resourceful library. Hostel facilities are decent, and the food in the mess/canteen is satisfactory. Medical facilities and sports amenities are available but could be improved. Overall, a conducive environment for learning.
    Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, supportive, and impart excellent knowledge. The curriculum is relevant and industry-focused, ensuring students are industry-ready. Semester exams are challenging yet fair, with a high pass percentage of 85%. Overall, the teaching is exceptional.
