Excellent experience plus 100% placement.

Placements: Placements are decent. An average package of final year students goes around 5-6 Lacs. And some of them are still pursuing internships. The internship opportunities is itself provided by the college and with the help of some teachers contact in industries students got placed on good package.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is fantastic with all the facilities that we need are present on the campus. High-speed Wi-Fi is available all in the campus and all the sports facilities are there. Hostels are good and disciplined as well as mess food is impressive.

Faculty: Faulty members are highly qualified from top-ranked institutes. They have so many contacts in industries and experience with the help of placement cell the good opportunities we are getting every year in the college. The course curriculum is well designed according to our criteria and what we need today for industries.

SIMSREE is functioned by the students and for the students.

Placements: Placements provided by the college are extremely good when compared to other B-schools. In India, the college ranks 2nd when it comes to ROI. The highest salary package offered was 18 LPA to 20 LPA. The average salary package offered was 10.70 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was not less than 8 LPA or 7.80 LPA. Many companies like JPMC, Barclays, Welspun, Marsh, HUL, Citigroup, and Reliance, etc., have visited our campus for recruitment. The roles offered varied according to companies and their requirements. Most of the jobs offered are front-line jobs. You get to learn many things from these kinds of roles. Infrastructure: As it's a proper government college, SIMSREE lacks in infrastructure. The entire college is located on the 3rd floor of Sydenham Commerce College which is Asia's first commerce college. The college has a huge auditorium, big cafeteria, and a new renewed library. For sports, you can use the Mumbai University's ground. The college provides Wi-Fi facility with 5 Mbps speed. Classrooms are air-conditioned, and there is a pool table in the cafeteria where you can play all the time. The annual fee of the college is hardly Rs. 70,000. It's a government college, so it results in some positive as well as negative opinions for you. At SIMSREE, we organise many national level events so lack of infrastructure should not be an issue for MBA students. The college is located in south Bombay, and you can easily reach the campus via Churchgate station. Marine drive is situated at one side of the college.

Faculty: Most of the faculty members at SIMSREE are temporary faculty members. All of them are from the industry background. SIMSREE always focuses on delivering the best knowledge to their students. All the professors are the best in their respective subjects. They are approachable and helpful at any time. Their quality of teaching is at par with the A-tier schools. Most of the faculty members of JBIMS and SIMSREE are the same. SIMSREE offers MS and PGDM programmes, but we never differentiate students based on their course. All the faculty members are guest faculty members. The same faculty members will teach all the students.

Other: SIMSREE has a student-driven culture, and all the activities of SIMSREE are managed and delivered by students. SIMSREE hosts many events such as Convergence (a national level competition), Reminiscence (an annual alumni meet) foundation day, Garbha night, and Confluence (a yearly consulting conclave). In SIMSREE, you will always have something to do. Connectivity to the campus is very easy as you can reach campus through Churchgate local station.

It is a very good college for those students who want to learn.

Placements: Placements were average but qualitative. I didn't focus much on the placements, so I did not have much interaction with the college placements. It was very good and very amazing. I heard that the placements were few but very important to the students because they were from big companies.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was very nice. Right now, our college is renovating its infrastructure. The canteen was beloved. I was residing in the hostel. I heard that the college was also very good in terms of hostel facilites. I would recommend taking the hostel facilities of our college.

Faculty: l would give the five stars for faculty members because our college had the most professional faculty members. They were very helpful in terms of understanding and explanations. All faculty members focused on the student's understanding. They really helped students with revision before exams and cleared the concepts.

You will be satisfied with this college.

Placements: I am a 2018 batch student. In our class, 72 members got placed in good companies. We all are getting good packages. The main perspective of college is providing placements. Companies like Tata, Reliance and many MNCs come to the campus for interviews.

Infrastructure: We can see all the essential things for students, like library, Wi-Fi and all books and computer systems. Food in the mess is very bad. It is a waste of money. There are no good hotels nearby.

Faculty: All the faculty members will teach you how to survive even in hard times. They will teach you morals and ethics, which are essential nowadays. The curricular activities are conducted well. Everyone gets to learn something different in this college.

Other: I chose PG in management, and I have started a small entrepreneurship, where over 200 people work with me. In this college, one can get the best friends for life.

How to apply for MBA in Sydenham college and which exams to give?

Hello, CET is the main exam to give for getting admission in Sydenham as compared to CAT and CMAT. Unlike in CET, the cutoffs are exorbitant in the other two exams. CET notification would come next January.

Hi, As I know, there is no category reservation when it comes to admission through CAT n CMAT. It is dependent on percentile and All India Rank. But you will get all reservation facilities after admission like scholarship n all. Thank you and all the best.

Is it necessary to give the CET or another test conducted by the college to apply for the Master's in Marketing course?

You don't need to give any test for this course. You just need to fill application form which is currently available on SIMSREE website. Shortlisted students have to go through the GD-PI process. Experience in related field is compulsory and they do shortlist based on your profile.

Hi! CAT seats belongs to All India Catagory seats which are open. All India Cut offs are generally higher than state level cut offs. So, chances of getting good or average college at this score is minimal.

May I know the required cutoff marks in CMAT and MH-CET exam for PGDM course in SIMSREE?

For the academic year 2017-19, PGDBM cutoffs for CET was 99.67 percentile and for CMAT (which comes under All India Seats) was 99.95 percentile.
