MBA colleges accepting CAT cut offs 80 to 90 percentile - Every candidate strives to score 99 percentile but the competition is so high in CAT, that the percentile falls even if there is a difference of decimals in candidates' scores. However, low score in CAT is not the end of MBA dream. There are over 1,300 MBA colleges in India which accept CAT score for admission. A large number of these colleges, private as well as government, accept CAT score in the range of 80 to 90 percentile.

  • CAT is a nationally recognised MBA entrance exam and is accepted by over 1,300 management institutes.
  • CAT is accepted by private as well as government institutes including central and state universities.
  • Candidates must check the selection criteria of CAT 90 percentile colleges for MBA admission before applying
  • Selection criteria of CAT 80 percentile colleges for MBA admission is same as CAT 90 percentile colleges
  •  Admission cut offs are higher for General category students in comparison to EWS, NC-OBC, SC, ST or PwD category students.
  • Only meeting the CAT cut off won't ensure admission. Candidates will have to clear the GD-PI round of the B-School as well.

Candidates should practice at least past 10 years' CAT question papers to have a good control over the exam. Many times, questions are repeated so prior practice will be helpful. CAT question papers are also best source of RC passages.

Yes, the question papers of all CAT exam slots are different from each other. This is done to ensure that there is no question leak before the next slot, and that second and third slot candidates have no advantage over first slot candidate.

IMI New Delhi admission to the MBA/PGDM courses is based on the CAT exam. The CAT cutoff is not released publicly and can only be accessed via students' registered login ID and password. As per the past years' cutoff trends, the overall estimated CAT cutoff percentile is 90

Yes, students do not need CAT scores to get admission in Ashoka Women's Engineering College MBA. The college only considers Andhra Pradesh MBA ICET scores. No other exams are considered.
