Good placements, but zero infrastructure.
Placements: As the University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering is the oldest and prestigious college of the government of Karnataka, the placements are quite good from the beginning. Almost every major company offers placement in our college with an average annual package of 3-4 Lacs.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure has always been a dream for University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering students or Evans. The college is more likely an abandoned monument than a college with no proper security, and lack of teaching staff can also be seen. The renovation of college is very much needed.
Faculty: Quality of teaching in University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering is not good as other prestigious colleges in the state, although few lecturers left who are experts in teaching. The student to faculty ratio is too low in UVCE when compared to other colleges.
