Practical learning and global exposure with strong career outcomes.
Tips: Students should be prepared for a fast-paced curriculum and independent learning. The cultural shift includes open class discussions and team-based work. Transitioning was smooth with support from peers. I didn't receive a scholarship, as most are merit-based and limited.
Dislikes (Part time work): ASU offers a solid MS in CS and Big Data Engineering programme with strong faculty and industry-aligned curriculum. On-campus part-time jobs are limited and competitive, while off-campus work is restricted. Balancing work and academics is manageable with planning. Faculty are diverse, approachable, and focus on practical learning. Living costs average around 5000 dollars/month. Post-graduation salaries are promising. The experience involves cultural adjustment but supports strong career growth.
