A:

The ideal score depends on the university you are targeting for admission. You have to get 320 or above out of 340,  for getting easy admission in to the top universities worldwide. Keep in mind that score equal to or above 75 percentile is considered good enough to apply for admission.

Q:   What is a 90% GRE score?
A:

A GRE score in the 90th percentile indicates that the test-taker has scored above 160 in both the Quantitative and Verbal Reasoning sections. A score above the 90th percentile is considered strong and significantly enhances the chances of admission to reputed universities.

Q:   how many years is gre score valid
A:

The validity of the GRE score is 5 years from the date of the test.  Students can use this score for the next 5 years to get admission to graduate and business schools. For example,  if you took the GRE exam on September 17, 2020, your scores would be valid through September 17, 2025 but not on September 18, 2025.

Q:   How to Check GRE Score Online?
A:

The GRE scores for General and Subject tests can be checked online. Generally, ETS declares the scores of the GRE General Test after 10 -15 days of the test. The official scores can be viewed in the ETS Account created by the aspirants at the time of registration.

Also, the result of the GRE Subject test is declared almost after five weeks after the test date. Candidates are informed through email, so they can check their ETS account and send the official score reports to the score recipients.

Q:   How to Send GRE Scores to Universities?
A:

In the case of the computer-delivered GRE General Test, the candidates are asked to designate four score recipients at the test centre. They can select not to send their score reports at that time and send them at later date by paying an additional fee.

In the case of a paper-delivered test, the candidates are asked to designate four score recipients at the time of registration. Candidates can choose not to report the scores at that time and send the latter by paying the additional fee.

GRE Scholarships

The GRE aspirants must note that ETS, the body that conducts GRE does not provide any scholarship even to the top scorers. There is no such thing as a GRE scholarship. Scholarships are provided by graduate schools and a GRE score is not the sole criterion for granting financial aid. Your academic background, work or research experience, or any other achievements are also considered for awarding a scholarship. So, it doesn’t mean that GRE scores are not important, they are given equal importance with other factors while applying for a scholarship.
