Andhra University's online mode of education with apprenticeship programs

Learning Experience: The course content was really useful. The LMS platform is very accessible and problems are immediately solved. They also provide upskill apprenticeship programs.

Placements: Internships and apprenticeship are provided for students who are interested in that program

Faculty: Many faculties are good at their pace of teaching. Online classes are bilingual, in English and in the local language (Telugu). Assessments are conducted online and given marks.

Course Support: Any queries regarding the subjects are clarified within the lecturing session.

Partly satisfied with the college due to a few drawbacks, but they are negligible.

Placements: I chose B.A., with history, economics and geography as my core subjects. The course has 6 semesters in total. All the exams are conducted by Andhra University, and we have semester-wise exams. I scored a decent grade in all semesters. As I studied at Vinex Degree College that is affiliated with Andhra University, I didn't get any job on campus.

Infrastructure: Andhra University is one of the largest universities in Asia, and I'm proud to be a graduate of Andhra University. This university has good infrastructure and facilities such as a library, playgrounds, gym, reading rooms and also hostels with good food facilities. The food quality is up to the mark in the canteen.

Faculty: The faculty in Andhra University are highly qualified and well experienced in their respective subjects. The courses I chose helped me a lot for many competitive exams, and the faculty too helped me to develop my skills in these 6 semesters. The semester exams are a bit difficult. An average student can score 6 out of 10 here.

Other: I chose this college because I'm preparing for UPSC civil. Hence, I preferred history, economics and geography groups. Every event is celebrated well, and the fests like inter-college competitions made me realise the competition standard out there.

This college is for work and study balance.

Placements: This college is not placements associated. Students won't get any placements, they just get a degree that can be applied for qualification-based exams. Students use this to get promotions on their currently working positions in their workplaces mostly, and few for competitive.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is the highlight of this college, and sets it apart from competitors. The canteen, parking lot, washrooms, corridors, classrooms, and everything are constructed very well. Overall, it is a masterpiece of construction, and other colleges are not this big.

Faculty: The professional staff has good behavior. They have a total grip on what they teach. Every teacher is highly experienced, and completely knows what they teach. Teachers are not rude and behave in a good manner, right from the receptionist to the principal. Everyone is professional in this college.

Other: It is for students who want to balance their work and studies together. The environment is friendly and teachers are professional, and it provides good infrastructure. The campus ambiance is good, and mostly all are well-behaving professors. The only disadvantage is the mode of payment of fees. It can only be paid via DD but not new methods like UPI or debit cards.

One of the best colleges in Visakhapatnam. You can do any course here.

Placements: Approximately 70 to 80 per cent of the students are placed. As we will go as a fresher candidate we can get from 2 to 5 Lacs per annum. There are so many top companies that offer us the best placement positions. Nearly 90% of the candidates got their Internships in their respective areas. We will be offered one of the supervisors or team leader posts once we complete our training in the respective department.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is one of the best with all the facilities. We have AC, Lights and smart screens in the classrooms. In addition to that, we are provided with computer rooms, libraries, etc. The hostel is not that great but was neat and good as per my view. It has a nice view, ventilation is good and the food is best in class.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and very attentive to students. They are very helpful to the problems of the students. Their teaching goes from basic to advance level in teaching every subject so that every student can understand it. The course curriculum is prepared by the experienced faculty of the campus and they make it easy for the students to get ready for the industry environment.
