Pharm.D	Candidate must have passsed B.Pharma. and obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of reserved category candidates) from an AICTE/UGC approved institution recognised by the Government of Andhra Pradesh as equivalent thereto. Final year appearing students may also apply on provisional basis.
M.Pharma	Candidate must have passsed B.Pharma. and obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of reserved category candidates) from an AICTE/UGC approved institution recognised by the Government of Andhra Pradesh as equivalent thereto. Final year appearing students may also apply on provisional basis.
Ph.D.	Candidate who have passed or appeared at the final year of the Diploma examination in pharmacy course conducted by the Andhra Pradesh / Telangana State Board of Technical Education and Training or any other examination recognised as equivalent can also apply. Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as of 31st December of the year of admission (2023).
M.E./M.Tech	Candidate must have passsed B.E./B.Tech. in relevant stream and obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of reserved category candidates) from an AICTE/UGC approved institution recognised by the Government of Andhra Pradesh as equivalent thereto. Final year appearing students may also apply on provisional basis.
B.Pharma	Candidates should have completed 16 years of age by the date of commencement of admission or on such other date as may be notified by the CET committee. There is no upper age limit.

The minimum marks needed to appear for the AUCET entrance exam to get admission to BSc at Andhra University differ on the basis of the candidates' category. The minimum eligibility criteria for admission to BSc at AU through AUCET for the general category is 50% in Class 12, 45% for SC/ ST/ OBC in Class 12 and, similarly, 45% for PwD in Class 12.

Students with minimum 45% marks at Class 12 from a recognised board are eligible for BCom admission. However, students should clear the cut-off based on the merit in Class 12. The basic eligibility for BSc Home Science is as follows: The basic eligibility criterion for pursuing a B.Sc. (Home Science) degree at Andhra University is qualifying 10+2 or equivalent examination in any stream. Some reputed AU affiliated colleges and institutes demand Physics, Chemistry and Biology as subjects studied at the Class 12 or equivalent level.
