Andhra University was established in 1926 as per the Madras Act. It is a public university located in Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India. The university is the first to be accepted as a teaching-cum-affiliating and residential university in India. It mainly offers postgraduate teaching and research education to its students. Andhra University Admissions
Andhra University admissions are done on merit basis and scores in the respective entrance exam accepted for a particular course. The mode of application at Andhra University is online. The university conducts several entrance exams for admission to postgraduate, Engineering and Management courses.
In addition, the university conducts AUEET (Andhra University Engineering Entrance Test) and AUSIB (Andhra University School of International Business) for admission to 6-year BTech + MTech Dual Degree Programme and 5-year Integrated BBA-MBA Course, respectively.
UG Admission

Andhra University Placements
Andhra University has a dedicated training and placement centre at its campus that looks after all the placement-related activities. It also provides placement related training and workshops to students. Some of the major companies that visit the campus for offering placements are TCS, Infosys, Mahindra and HCL.
According to Shiksha verified data, 75% students of the university are able to find placements in reputed companies after passing out from their respective colleges. Andhra University Scholarships
Andhra University scholarships are offered under various categories. The university offers Tribal Welfare and Merit Social Welfare scholarships to eligible candidates. Placements: 20% of the students were placed in our course. The highest package is 3.8 LPA, the lowest 3.3LPA, and the average package is 3.5 LPA offered in our course this year. Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, TCS, Amazon, MU sigma, Efftronics are the top recruiting companies. 17% of the students got an internship in Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra and MuSigma. System Engineer is the role offered.
Infrastructure: We have separate department libraries for each department and a common central library for all departments. Wi-Fi is available for the staff but its speed is good. The labs are good. Classrooms are also good. Recently, they renovated all the classrooms and they are looking great. Placements: There are around 200 students in the ECE branch, and I don't know the salary packages offered exactly. Reputed companies like HP, Dell, Goggle, etc., visit here for placements. Around 70%-80% of the students got internships.

Merit Social Welfare/ Tribal Welfare Scholarships:
The eligible students have been provided merit social welfare/tribal welfare scholarships from the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh. The PG GATE qualified students are given UGC/AICTE fellowships.
BTH Scholarship:
The students are eligible to apply for BTH Scholarship (Tuition fee waivers) programme for two levels of tuition fee waiver on existing tuition fee for the fee movers for the at BTH i.e.The selection for BTH scholarship will be done as per the merit of academic excellence among all the international students. BTH Scholarships are subject to availability.
The University is providing scholarships to 80% of its students through various central and state government agencies. It is also encouraging the students to get financial assistance from other agencies. In some departments, alumni are supporting the students through providing various merit / merit-cum-means scholarships.

I got 800 rank in AUEET entrance exam can I get CSE group in Andhra University Visakhapatnam.
It is difficult to get CSE group with your rank but you can go for couselling and opt the seat. If any seat is vacant then you may be alloted the seat. You can go for other groups such as civil, Mech, EEE.
