Q:   How is the faculty and infrastructure of Andhra University, Visakhapatnam for B.Arch?
A:
Hi, I was there for 7 years both as a student and then as a lecturer from 1955 till December 1962. It was a golden era when Dr. VS Krishna was the VC, with the best Registrar Gopala Swamy Naidu, and outstanding faculty from all over India. There were many visiting faculties from the West as well. It certainly produced the best graduates in India and some of them migrated to all parts of the world, reaching the highest positions wherever they settled. I wish the best for the future of the Institute and its faculty and students. 1) One of the oldest universities in the country and the top government college in the state. 2) It has got a better ranking overall for the entire University (but again the ranking of engineering college alone is not that good) 3) There are limited students per class, there are only 30 seats in each department and 60 in a few. 4) Library: Every department in the University has got its own department library which comprises all the essential course materials and access to various e-books and journals. Apart from that, we have got the Central Engineering library where there are multiple copies of books which allows you to draw books, and apart from that we have got the central library in South campus which is one of its kind which is well known for the vast volumes it has got. 5) The overall area of the campus is around 600 acres, the engineering college had an area of about 110 acres including hostels. 6) Engineering College has got one of the biggest grounds in the city, we also have a basketball court and gym where you can access all the equipment without paying any extra money. 7) NCC and NSS: Students here got the provision to be in one of them, the centers of NCC and NSS are there within the University. 8) Internet connectivity: University has got one of the best internet connectivity, all the students are allowed to access the Wi-Fi. 9) Alumni: The University has got the strongest Alumni base, most of the Alumni of the University are in great positions and you get a chance to interact with them if you are fortunate enough. Most of the Alumni were known to hold positions such as chief directors in many companies here and abroad. The Alumni have contributed and are part of the university's overall development in terms of providing infrastructure and providing other facilities. Some of them are even good at providing placements too.

Pros and cons of Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering by me.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure in our college are good enough, and the labs and classrooms are well-maintained. The hostel food facilities are okay for minimal prices, and they provide good medical facilities and encourage students for sports and games in our mechanical department. A madam named keerthi, she teaches us the C language and the mechanical subject. She is very supportive of students by guiding them.

The problems and facilities in Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good enough, but facilities are a little low. The quality of the facilities in our hostel is good, the quality of food available in the mess and canteen is good with minimal prices, and the quantity of food is also good. Sports and games are also given priority. Separate hours will be provided for that, tournaments will also be conducted, and students are also interested in participating.

The opportunities provided by Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering.

Infrastructure: The facilities in Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering are one of the best things. The labs in our college are well maintained with the best machines and equipment. The college has Wi-Fi availability, classrooms are well maintained, and each class has a separate projector. The infrastructure of GVPCE is quite better compared with other colleges. They provide quality food in the college canteen and hostel mess. We can get unlimited food at the college hostel for only 50 rupees per plate....

Not excellent but one of the best. Satisfied with faculty. Dissatisfied with classrooms.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi in labs is good, and there is always a person who solves any problem that arises in the computers (lab technician available all the time). Classrooms are non-AC, but labs are AC. Canteen is available from early morning to evening 5 PM. Main library is very good and the best place. There is a central library at the starting point of the college, and there are department libraries in each department building. College faculty and management are very supportive towards sports and games, yoga s...

Good, based on trending market companies, are selected.

Infrastructure: In labs, computers are old models but recently they might be focused on labs because it was not an issue because the labs are good. Coming to the network issue, there are no network issues at all and coming to the lab infrastructure, it is also good, and labs consist of AC also.

I got a satisfying experience at Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering.

Infrastructure: The campus of Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering is spacious and green, which creates a peaceful study atmosphere. As a CSE student, I spend most of my time in labs and classrooms. Both facilities are well-maintained. Some classrooms even have projectors. The library is big and quiet, one of my favorite places. We also have seminar halls, sports areas, a medical room, and transport. The infrastructure supports academics very well, and it definitely adds to the college experience. Faci...

The vibes of GVPCE are at their peak.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available in our college are really good. The mechanical department has all the required equipment and machines, and they are maintained very well. The quality of facilities in our hostel is also good. I am not a hostel student. Many of my friends are hostelers, and they share their experiences with me. The canteen food is also good enough, so we can eat unlimited food at Rs. 50 for a single late.

ANITS- Where the talent belongs.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure was pretty good, where the various departments are located on their particular block, which helps the outside people to easily locate or navigate. State-of-the-art labs, modern classrooms, and a vast library with digital resources, sports facilities, and hostels create an ideal environment for academic excellence and personal growth.

It has supportive faculty, average placements, and good infrastructure and facilities.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure for my course/department regarding labs and classrooms are fine and cool. There is much greenery. A good infrastructure for labs or systems is provided. Whenever needed, we can do system work in our college labs. There is also an Ideal lab in which we can share our ideas and thoughts to implement innovation projects. We can work there with efficient facilities. There will be no efficient Wi-Fi facility. There are good-quality facilities in our hostel. Games and spor...

Okay overall in all aspects like study, facilities.

Infrastructure: Decent but not great infrastructure. No Wi-Fi. Good environment but less area than other engineering colleges. Overall, it's a good engineering college in Visakhapatnam. Consider joining ANITS, it has good facilities but not too great, totally based on your interest.

In our college, it is disappointing, but a few facilities are good.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are very average. For example, Wi-Fi is not available in my branch, and there is no proper infrastructure in my labs. The classrooms and library are good in our college. There are no hostels in my college. The sports facilities are good, and the medical facilities are average in our college.
