The GATE scores are important to get selected for PSU recruitment. Every PSU have different selection process and GATE cutoff scores. The GATE minimum qualifying mark usually depends on the PSU and their popularity and demand. For example, GATE cutoff score for top PSUs like GAIL, HPCL, IOCL, etc. are usually higher than other PSUs and will be announced by each company separately on their official website.
Another important point to not that, the GATE scorecard is valid for three years. However, many PSUs do consider the present scorecard only. But, there are some other PSUs like AAI, CRIS, etc. accept older GATE scores for recruitment as well.
How to Utlilise GATE scores effectively for PSU recruitment?
Candidates must keep their GATE result scorecard carefully till its validation. Look for the all PSUs you're interested for and start applying once the notification is released.
