NTA announced JEE Main 2024 dates. NTA coducted the JEE Main 2024 exam in two sessions. JEE Main 2024 exam date session 1 was January 24 to February 1 while the second session was held from April 4 to 15. IIT Kanpur BSc seat reservation is prescribed by the Board of Governors subject to the policy formulated from time to time by the Government of India. The seats are reserved for the SC, ST, OBC (Not belonging to Creamy Layer) and PwD (Person with Disability) category candidates.

CAT 2023 exam date is November 26. The CAT 2023 registration has started from August 2 and the last date to apply for CAT is September 13, 2023. The CAT score will be accepted for admission Candidates need to register and appear for CAT 2023. The CAT 2023 registration fee has been increased again this year. Admission to the BTech programme at IIT Kanpur is entrance exam-based, i.e., based on JEE Main followed by JEE Advanced scores. To get a seat in IIT Kanpur for BTech/BSc/BS admission, candidates must qualify JEE Advanced. The IIT Kanpur JEE Advanced Cutoff 2024 was released branch-wise and category-wise. Among the General AI category candidates, the Cutoff ranks for different courses closed at a range of 252 and 10058. The most competitive course among the General AI quota candidates was BTech in CSE. Among the OBC AI category candidates, the cutoff ranks closed at a range of 132 and 4766. 

IIT Kanpur MBA total tuition fee ranges between INR 2.8 Lacs and INR 13.1 Lacs as per an unofficial source. The fee excludes admission fee, security deposits, semester fee and hostel charges. There is relaxation in fee for reserved category students. Candidates need to pay fee after completion of the selection rounds, to confirm their seat. 

Apart from the tuition fee, aspirants need to register with an application fee in the start of the admission process. The application fee is INR 1,600 for General/ OBC (NCL) candidates. The fee is low (INR 800) for SC/ ST/ DAP candidates.

Based on the Round 1 seat allotment, the BTech cutoff scores ranged between 248 and, 10037 for the General AII India category students. Note that, once the JoSAA choice filling window closes candidates will not be allowed to edit the choice list.
