Excellent college, good facilities, enjoyable fests, but hard academics.

Faculty: Professors are very helpful and knowledgeable. They teach each topic briefly and encourage doubts. The course curriculum is relevant prepares students to work at the industrial level. Semester exams are much harder compared to other colleges. The pass percentage is nearly 70%.

All you need to know about IITK.

Faculty: IIT Kanpur has highly-qualified professors who are knowledgeable and helpful, though teaching quality varies by instructor. Course curriculum is rigorous and provides industry-relevant skills, but practical exposure depends on electives and projects. Semester exams are tough, requiring deep understanding. The pass percentage is generally high but not guaranteed.

Dissatisfied because of faculty members.

Faculty: Teachers are very qualified and knowledgeable but they are not much helpful. They became angry if students asked about their doubts. The teaching quality is good but the behaviour of faculty members is not acceptable. Only few curriculum activities are conducted.

Review of IIT Kanpur - Indian Institute of Technology.

Faculty: Teachers are very learned people in terms of knowledge as well and they are always available to help us. Academics are tough here but can be handled with a little bit of discipline and management. Semester exams are mostly moderate to tough. The grading system is also good.

The best thing about IIT Kanpur is its ongoing events and study going together.

Faculty: Teachers are not like our school teachers and more like professors as they teach and go. But some of the teachers also try to be friendly with students. Semester exams are usually moderate to tough but if we study well, we can end up well.

It has really good infrastructure and facilities.

Faculty: IIT Kanpur has highly qualified faculty members. They are known to be highly knowledgeable and research-driven. Professors here set a very tough exam paper but if we attend the class regularly and listen carefully to the things the professor has taught in the class, it won't be that tough.

Review from undergraduate of IIT Kanpur.

Faculty: Faculty members of IIT Kanpur are highly educated. Their teaching quality is pretty good and it also depends on faculty to faculty. The course curriculum is a bit difficult here, and it will make us ready for any industry. Semester exams are not that difficult, and if we study we can achieve good marks or good grades in our courses. Grading is relevant here so I cannot say the exact percentage where we will be passing in any course. At 30%, we will be considered as passed in every course.

The college has a good infrastructure and environment.

Faculty: Teachers or faculty members are helpful, highly qualified, and knowledgeable. The courses are more oriented towards core mathematics and quite helpful for higher studies. Semester exams are difficult in some courses and the pass percentage is relative to the performance of other students.

Very hectic academics, very bad experience with Maths courses really tough, and very hard grading.

Faculty: Courses are tough. There is a perception of people about IIT Kanpur that academics are quite tough and it is true to a certain extend. The first-year mathematics course fees and the grading of professors are really bad. There are also useless courses like Biology, Ethics, and English.

Extremely satisfied with my college, it is one of the best.

Faculty: Teachers are good, very helpful, and qualified from the best universities of the world. The teaching quality is the best. In academics, IIT Kanpur is considered one of the most difficult due to its maths courses. But, grading is okay and sometimes relatively absolute. Overall, courses are of all types.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are really difficult and it is conducted in one week.
