Faculty: The mathematics department's curriculum is well-suited for students aspiring to pursue a Ph.D. in the future. Obtaining admission to a foreign university for Ph.D. becomes relatively easier after completing M.Sc. from IIT. Although the degree from IIT Kanpur holds high value nationwide, the semester exams are notably challenging.
