Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore started the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024 registration on Aug 30. GATE application form 2024 is available online at the exam official website. Aspirants can visit the website to apply. There are multiple components added to the course fee, including tuition fee, hostel fee, student welfare fund, training and placement charges, etc. IIT Delhi MTech tuition fees range between INR 10,000 and INR 11.9 lakh. JEE Main counselling schedule is released by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority after the declaration of the JEE Main result. The counselling shall be conducted in the months of June and July, tentatively. There seat allotment process is carried out through JoSAA counselling. Students securing the required marks in JEE Advanced become eligible for participation in counselling for admission to NITs, IIITs and other GFTIs including IIT Delhi.

Presently, IIT Delhi is offering 7 Certificate courses namely Digital Marketing, Data Science, Human Resource Management, Business Management, Design Thinking & Innovation, Industrial Design, Innovation and Entrepreneurship and Project Management. The college offers courses at the UG and PG levels across the Design, Management, Engineering, and several other streams. At the UG level, IIT Delhi offers B.Tech, B. Des and other courses to students. At the PG level, the college offers M.A. M.Tech, M.A. M.Sc. And other courses to students. As per the QS World University Rankings, IIT Delhi is the third best institute in India and 174th globally. In the NIRF rankings, it has been ranked at the second spot under the "Engineering" category. Candidates get good placement opportunities. The highest international and domestic package offered was INR 2 crore per annum and INR 1.25 crore per annum. In IIT Delhi placements, 50 students received package more than INR 1 crore per annum (domestic). Thus, it is great if a candidate gets admission at IIT Delhi.

IIT Delhi is one of the prestigious IITs of India offering BTech course. For getting into IIT Delhi, candidates are required to pass JEE Main, followed by JEE Advanced and JoSAA Counselling. The course outline of mechanical in IIT Delhi or IIT Bombay is similar and is quite well aligned with the course structure of top ranked international universities and the mechanical is one of the most desired and demanded branches in the IITs. The universities stand on similar QS ranking level and the facility and quality of infrastructure on average is almost the same in both the campuses, IITB has a lake, a pretty larger campus than that of IITD whereas IITD stands in a very desired location of Delhi ( in Hauz Khas) which stands very close to the international airport and various railway stations and is comparatively very green and clean than the outer Delhi. Many people choose IITB for its past trend or some local variables and similarly people also choose IITD if they aspire to go for civil services as Delhi is the hub for the preparation for UPSC and other civil services and again the accessibility of the nearby regions. It is voluntary to opt for the hostel facility at IIT Delhi. In fact, if a candidate lives within a 15 km radius of the campus, they won't be allotted a hostel room at all. However, the institute houses 11 boys' hostels and two girls' hostels which is enough to accommodate the willing candidates. IIT Delhi has a technologically advanced campus spread across 325 acres of land. Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For the General category under All India, opening rank was 5649 and closing rank was 5796. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 11244 and 12034. Admission to B.Tech. in Textile Technology in IIT Delhi is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

No, IIT Delhi has separate hostels for Boys and Girls. There are no co-ed hostels. The institute has no tolerance policy for the same. Boys can only visit the girls' hostel visitor’s room and vice-versa. On house days, the institute may allow students to visit other hostels.

There are a total of five specialisations offered for the MBA programme at DMS IIT Delhi. The specialisations include Information Systems, Finance, Marketing, Strategic Management and Operations Management. As per unofficial sources, there are 91 seats allotted to the MBA General programme. Admission to this programme is entrance-based, DMS IIT Delhi accepts admission to MBA courses through a valid CAT entrance exam score. Candidates must keep an eye on CAT admit card release dates, attempt as many CAT question papers as possible, and follow the CAT preparation guidelines.
