To get admission in NIFT Gandhinagar, candidates need to apply online through the official website of NIFT. However, admissions are based on a valid score obtained in NIFT entrance exam.

A 70% in class 12 is not a guarantee, but it is a possibility to get into NIFT Gandhinagar. To be admitted, one must pass the NIFT entrance exam. NIFT Gandhinagar Master of Fashion Management (MFM) and Master of Fashion Technology (MFTech) programmes admission is granted on the basis of a valid score in GAT, followed by a GD/ PI round. For admission to NIFT Gandhinagar Continuing Education (CE) programme, admission is based on the merit obtained in the previous qualifying exams. A total of 15% and 7.5% seats are reserved for candidates belonging to SC and ST categories, respectively.
