Syllabus is very good & all courses are definitely value for money.

Placements: It was a Great time at Indira Gandhi National Open University (2021-2023), when I'm pursuing B.A. hons in Psychology, 85% of students were successfully placed. The highest package offered was 6 LPA, while the lowest was 3.5 LPA. Around 70% of students secured internships, with companies like Mind Healer, Kaholas and Future Skills. Notable Roles Included Clinical Psychologist, HR Consultant and Research Analyst.

Infrastructure: As I Mentioned Earlier I was Doing an Open Learning Course from IGNOU so there wasn't any Infrastructure Facilities are offered to us. But I visit at IGNOU Study Centres & Regional Centres and all the Facilities & Teachers Behaviour is very Positive Towards us.

Faculty: Teacher's quality at IGNOU can vary. Some Students find the teachers to be helpful, knowledgeable and qualified, while others may have different experiences. The pass percentage can also vary between courses and semesters, but IGNOU typically has a flexible evaluation system to accommodate diverse learners.

It provides good infrastructure but the services are slow.

Placements: Students have no information about placements cell yet. Bur IGNOU has a placements cell that works average, and since the degree has good value it is possible to get placed. After this course, one can get started with internships with no or less money. One can work as a clinical psychologist, industrial psychologist, counselor, etc, according to the specialization students can choose in the third year for internships.

Infrastructure: The study center at Karkardooma, Amar Jyoti Trust is very big and spacious. It has various rooms and laboratories. The regional center at Rajghat is very beautiful and very large. The faculty members are very humble and supportive, and students can get books from the regional center if the books do not get delivered on time. Assignments have to be submitted at the respective study center and can be submitted very easily.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and humble considering the little information they get from the regional center. The information often is delayed, and there is often confusion about extending deadlines, online classes, and practicals. Faculty members are qualified and explain well but self-study is utterly important to excel in IGNOU. It is better to do an M.A. in psychology as there are more chances to be placed after M.A. IGNOU exams are said to be difficult but the study material is very good and well written so that would be enough to study.

Other: This course is very interesting and has high scope in the future looking at the increasing importance of mental health in India. If students can get this course in regular mode from IGNOU it would have been way better but according to the fee structure, it is worth it.

I am satisfied and happy in our course and I will recommend others too.

Placements: I am not a graduate yet, but my friends who graduated are doing Masters right now. First, we had this assumption that IGNOU is not as valuable as others but you need to know that you have to make yourself valuable by being knowledgeable and qualified.

Infrastructure: It is an open university so I was not in the hostel. But the infrastructure and facilities in this college are convincing. We attend our classes on weekends and our study centre is Jamia Millia Islamia. We have everything we need to do better in our studies.

Faculty: Teachers in this college are professional and very friendly. We are having our online classes and their way of teaching is better from other courses I've been in. First, when I saw that I had to do Statistics too, I was a little scared but when I joined my lectures, it was like a child's play. The way of teaching is nothing wrong and the course material is very informative. So if you're doing well, there will be no issue in the future.

Other: The campus crowd is mostly of people who want to learn something and do something productive at the same time. I chose this course because I have some other plans for the future.

Overall IGNOU is a good college.

Placements: The salary offered ranges from Rs. 15,000 - Rs. 20,000 per month. Top companies visit our college for placements like Element H, SIS international research, etc. Roles of clinical, industrial, and business psychologists are offered. This course is beneficial for all who are interested in psychology.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are good but not the best in our study center. Different courses are done in different classrooms and practicals in practical labs. Labs have all facilities which are required. There's a normal size playground for the sports lover. Canteen or mess facility is also good and clean.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, knowledgeable and supportive. The course curriculum is relevant. There are no semester exams in IGNOU. Exams are held only at the end of the year and are not so difficult. If you study you will score very good marks.

They aren't helpful which makes everything harder for a teen who took admission.

Placements: The salary packages offered are average and don't cost much and there were a couple of hundred students in our course. There are no top recruiters in this course, and until you do your master's you can't find a job in this field of psychology. Every student got an internship either in private or government firms. I got into government.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are fine but the labs weren't provided for us. As it's an open college and no hostels are there. We have a decent canteen on the main campus but not in the study center. In some study centers, there are no canteens. The classes are long which makes students hard to concentrate without any break.

Faculty: Teachers are good but not helpful. The course curriculum is very much relevant and it gives insight for sure. Exams are average. More than half students pass but others don't.

Other: I opted for this course because I wanted to learn about people with different psychological problems and how to deal with it. The best I would say is it helps us understand other people better. Better teachers should be provided who are helpful and give more knowledge about the internships and the projects as what we have to do in it.
