Yes, the Board conducts CBSE 12th supplementary exam for the subjects which students are not able to clear. CBSE Class 12 supplementary exams are usually conducted on a single day.

Students who are unable to clear their CBSE Class 12 exams in one or two subjects and those who wish to improve their marks can apply and appear for the supplementary/improvement exams.  

Every year, more than 13 Lacs students appear for the BSEB 12th exams. As per the data shared by the Bihar Board, in 2024, a total of 13,04,352 students registered for the BSEB class 12 exam. Last year, a total of 13.18 Lacs students appeared for the BSEB class 12 exam. Out of which, 10.91 Lacs candidates cleared the exam. While Lacs of students were unable to pass the exam. The overall pass percentage stood at 83.7 %. This year too, more than 13 Lacs students are expected to participate in the class 12 board exams. Maharashtra HSC passing marks are decided by board. It is 35 per cent in each subject. Those securing this are declared qualified in exam.

CBSE 12th compartment exam 2026 will be held on July 28. Earlier, the exam was scheduled to be held on July 15. It will be a single-day exam. Students can appear in one subject.

Bihar Board class 10 exams are held in offline mode. The students need to write the exam in pen and paper mode. To write the BSEB matric exam, all the examinees are given two types of answer sheets. The first type of answer copy is an OMR sheet which is for multiple-choice questions. On the other hand, the students are also given blank answer sheets to write non-MCQs. The students are suggested to follow all the instructions related to the exam.

Students are advised to reach the Maharashtra HSC exam centre at least half an hour before the commencement of exams. The exam timings are mentioned in the maha HSC hall ticket. In case a student gets late in reaching the exam centre, he/she must understand that they will not be given any extra time to write the exam. 

Thus, it is advised that students leave for the exam centre early considering the traffic or any other deterrent. 

You must not forget to carry your CBSE 12th admit card on all exam days. In case you forget, you will not be allowed to write the exam. Along with the CBSE 12th admit card and school ID, students must also carry their pens, pencils, ruler. geometry box etc.

The board releases the CBSE 12th admit card in the first week of February on the official website. Students  need to collect their admit card from their school respectively.  The CBSE 12th exams are held from February until April every year.  

In case you're unable to attend a CBSE 12th board exam, you will be given zero marks in the subject. Soon, you will be asked to appear for the supplementary exam. Thus, it is better to focus and study hard and not skip or leave your exam to pass with flying colours.

NO. No type of calculators, mobile phones, or any technological gadget is allowed during CBSE exams. Any student caught carrying these will be barred from writing their exam. 

The Central Board of Secondary Education is expected to conduct the CBSE 12th exams 2026 between February and April in pen and paper format.
