Psychology can be defined as the science of mind and human behaviour. Psychology courses in India are offered at various levels i.e. Diploma courses in Psychology, Certificate courses in Psychology, Bachelor's degree courses in Psychology and Postgraduate courses in Psychology. Moreover, there are many research-level courses as well as part-time or online courses in Psychology.

While Psychology is a vast subject in itself, every other course that requires studying human anatomy and related subjects also includes basic concepts of psychology in its course curriculum. Psychology as a subject is generally included in counselling courses, physiotherapy therapeutic and other medical courses. What is Psychology Course

As stated above, Psychology is a vast course and it can be divided into several specialisations. The degree is offered in both Arts as well as Science streams. Few colleges offer a five-year Integrated course in Psychology. The duration of the Psychology course varies according to the programme level (undergraduate or postgraduate) and type (full-time, part-time, certificate, etc.). For a full-time programme, the UG level programmes are of three years duration whereas the PG programmes are of two years duration.
