Our college provides very good hostel facilities.

Placements: Students of our college were eligible for placements from the 5th semester. The recruiting companies were Wipro, TCS, and HCL. The highest salary package offered was 5 LPA and the average salary package was 3 LPA. More than 80% of students got placed. Since I was working I didn't require any placement assistance.

Infrastructure: I stayed in PG which was the best with a fee of Rs.8,000 including food. Students learn to live independently by staying in PG or hostels.

Faculty: Our college provided 2 teachers for every 60 students. They were well-qualified with M.Phil, Ph.D., CA, etc. Exams were difficult to pass as students got very less time for preparation. They had many assignments and projects during the course.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest in accounting and management. Each class consisted of 60 students. Our course fee was Rs.88,000 per year.

The best open university to pursue the degree courses.

Placements: Several companies, such as collegedekho.com, Naukri.com, and the Airport Authority of India, visit the college for placement. I aim to pursue a Ph.D. in commerce. The average placement package offered stands at 3.50 lacs. The college ensures a 50% placement rate for its students.

Infrastructure: The annual fest is held every February at IGNOU Pragati Maidan, despite it being a distance learning course with no campus life. Classes take place in designated colleges with regular amenities. The college houses a library accessible via a card.

Faculty: The faculty is well-qualified and has good teaching skills. They are very humble. Exams are held semester-wise twice a year. It is not difficult to pass the exam, but it is challenging to cope with competitive exams. Classes are conducted on weekends, and the faculty-to-teacher ratio is 1:20.

My review of this college.

Placements: Internships are completely overtaken by students' choices. The college also arranges some internships. But there is no compulsion. The stipend offered ranges from Rs. 1,000-5,000 per month. A few companies visited the college under the placement cell and recruited a few students. Students should pass in all semesters. After the fourth semester, students are eligible for campus placements. A large number of companies come for placements, like TCS, Reliance, ICICI Bank, etc. The starting package on the campus is Rs. 18,000 per month. Almost 60-80% of students get placed.

Faculty: Faculty members are very educated and knowledgeable. They make the education process very easy. We have one of these faculty members who are very educated and their lectures are absolutely mind-blowing because whatever they taught us in college helped us in our exams. The course curriculum should be easy to understand and it should be student-oriented, full of activities, and not teacher-oriented. The course curriculum should include all topics that will nourish student knowledge and enable us to stand on our own and become job-ready. Our course is up to date. We are provided with industrial exposure to Rajasthan. It is a great trip as we are able to acquire good knowledge over there and overall it is good. There are different teachers for different subject students. So the ratio is 6:120. All faculty members are well-educated. Some are M.com qualified and some are MBA holders. Some are professional degree holders.

Other: I have been interested in accounts for a long, so I chose this course.
