Review of Indira Gandhi National Open University.

Placements: Since IGNOU is an open university, it doesn't provide any kind of placements. Most of the courses of IGNOU are job-oriented but unable to provide you with any sort of placements. Even if you complete MBA from IGNOU, which is considered one of the most difficult courses of IGNOU, you won't get any direct placements.

Infrastructure: IGNOU does not provide any kind of hostel and mess facilities. Most of the time, whenever we get listed for examination, we are allotted colleges (nearby) to attend exams. However, the facilities provided in most of the colleges in which IGNOU conducts exams are good and satisfactory.

Faculty: The teachers here are well qualified and helpful in nature. They even help with topics which are not related to our course such as marks updation queries, etc. The courses are relevant and also make you job-ready. But the semester and annual exams are very tough. The pass percentage is 35% in most of the exams.

Other: The best and only open university of India supported by the central government is IGNOU. Economics Honours course is relevant to my job work, so I chose it. The best thing about our course is it makes students ready for competitive exams. But there is a scope for improvement.
