Candidates wishing to get into BTech course of IIT Bombay have to qualify for JEE Main followed by JEE Advanced. The selected candidates based on JEE score are allotted seat through JoSAA Counselling. Candidates who have completed Class 12 with a minimum of 75% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are eligible to apply for JEE Main. BTech course aspirants have to apply through JEE Main by filling out an application form through the National Testing Agency (NTA) official website (nta.ac.in). The application fee for boys is INR 1,000 and INR 800 for girls (general/gen-EWS/OBC (NCL) category). Followed by JEE Main, students have to register for JEE Advanced. For this, candidates have to first login with their JEE Main 2023 application number and password. Further, candidates have to fill out the registration form, upload scanned certificates, and pay the application fee. 

NTA started JEE Mains 2025 session 2 registration on  February 1, 2025. JEE Main application form 2025 session 2 was available online on the website jeemain.nta.nic.in until February 25. IIT Bombay accepts GATE score for admission to MTech course. Candidates must have a BE/ BTech/ BSc/ Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Planning/ MSc/ MCA/ MBBS/ MPharm/ BPharma/ BDS/ degree recognised equivalent to BE/ BTech with a minimum of 60% aggregate (55% aggregate for SC/ ST/ PwD category). For MTech General-All India, cut offs for GATE 2024 closed off at score 600 for MTech in Chemical Engineering and 750 for Computer Science and Engineering. No, admission to IIT Bombay BTech is through JEE Main/Advanced only, there is no separate application fee of the institute. To take the JEE Mains examination, aspirants need to pay the application fee. The category-wise application fee amount is as follows:

• INR 1,000  (Male unreserved/OBC/EWS category)

Yes, IIT Bombay accepts UCEED score for BDes admission. The category-wise rank obtained in UCEED indicates the candidate’s position in the respective category at the time of the result declaration. A merit list is released with the names of shortlisted candidates. The shortlisted candidates have to register for counselling with a non-refundable application fee of INR 4,000. They have to provide their institute order preference. The institute conducts three rounds of seat allocation. The seats are allocated based on the applicant's All India Rank in UCEED 2024. Shortlisted aspirants will be sent provisional allotment letters via their registered email. Candidates need to pay a seat acceptance fee to confirm their admission.
