
GATE 2025: NIT Warangal has announced the CCMT 2025 Round 1 seat allotment result on June 9. Candidates who had registered can view their allotment result from the official website. The last date to pay the acceptance fee was June 16. The counselling for GATE 2025 MTech admission has started. The CCMT 2025 and COAP dates are OUT. The counselling for GATE CCMT and COAP is conducted in multiple rounds, where candidates are given college or institute choices based on their marks. The CCMT 2025 Round II seat allotment result will be announced on June 21. IISc Bengaluru has revised the COAP dates for 2025. The COAP registration for GATE counselling 2025 is done in 5 main and 5 additional rounds. The CCMT, on the other hand, is conducted for admission to NITs and GFTIs in multiple rounds to offer seats and admission to various NITs and GFTIs. The CCMT seat matrix 2025 has been released. Candidates can visit the official website to check the seat matrix for various courses.
IIT Roorkee has released the GATE 2025 cutoff and scorecard on the official website. This year, 936019 candidates had registered for the GATE, out of which 747319 candidates appeared for the exam. The GATE 2025 results were announced on March 19, and the AIR 1 topper's list was out on March 25. Qualified candidates can download their scorecard using the enrollment ID and password. The official GATE 2025 result website to check the scorecard is gate2025.iitr.ac.in. The GATE result scorecard was available for free download from March 28 to May 31. After that, the GATE result scorecard is available till December 31, and candidates can download the scorecard by paying a fee of INR 500 per paper. Along with the GATE 2025 CS, ME, EE, EC, and CE results, and the GATE cutoff, the authorities have released the GATE 2025 topper's list (AIR) branch-wise. The GATE CCMT 2025 counselling is now ongoing.
The IIT Roorkee earlier activated the GATE 2025 correction facility for provisional candidates. The last date to submit was March 15, 2025. IIT Roorkee closed the GATE 2025 answer key challenge facility on March 1, 2025. The fee for raising objections to the GATE 2025 response sheet was INR 500 per question. The authorities reviewed, and based on the responses sent by the candidates, the GATE 2025 final answer key is available on the website. IIT Roorkee has also released the GATE 2025 question paper for ME, EE, CS, EC, CY, BT, XL, and others.

What's New in GATE 2025
- IIT Roorkee has included a new GATE 2025 two-paper combination list to help candidates expand their examination choices.
- International City Withdrawal: No international centres for the GATE 2025 examination exist. Desirous foreign or Indian nationals interested in appearing for the GATE 2025 examination will have to travel to India to appear for the test.
- International master and visa cards are also accepted to pay the GATE application fee.
GATE exam is conducted only once a year to offer admissions to master's and PhD programs at top institutions, such as IITs and NITs. Qualifying GATE exam also paves the way for technical jobs in in PSUs. This year, IIT Roorkee conducted the GATE 2025 exam on Feb 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025 in two sessions - morning and afternoon.

What is GATE Exam?
Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering or GATE is a national-level entrance examination conducted for admission to Masters in Technology (MTech) and direct PhD admissions to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) and other institutes/universities across India. Many public sector undertakings (PSUs) and state electricity boards (SEBs) also accept GATE to recruit trainee engineers and scientists for group C-level posts.
The exam is jointly conducted by IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, IIT Roorkee and Indian Institute for Science, Bangalore (IISC Bangalore) on a rotational basis on behalf of the National Coordination Board (NCB - GATE), Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource & Development (MHRD), Government of India.

GATE 2025 Counselling
Counselling: 13 May ' 25 - 11 Jul ' 25
IISc has announced the GATE COAP 2025 counselling dates on the website. The GATE CCMT dates are also announced on the website. GATE-qualified candidates have two options for the counselling process. GATE-qualified candidates can opt for COAP for admission to the MTech courses offered by IITs and CCMT for admission to MTech programs offered by NITs, IIITs, and GFTIS. Eligible candidates need to participate in the GATE 2025 counselling as per the schedule.
The CCMT counselling started on May 14, and the COAP counselling started on May 17. The COAP dates have been revised. The counselling mode is online and is conducted in different rounds. GATE-qualified candidates can also avail themselves of financial assistance through a monthly stipend of 12400 through GATE counselling. GATE COAP 2025: Counselling Process
Common Offer Acceptance Portal, commonly known as COAP, serves as a common platform for all the participating institutes to fill all the M.Tech. seats and for the participating PSUs to upload their Job offers to the GATE Qualified candidates. COAP 2025 will be conducted in five main & five additional rounds. COAP 2025 Main round counselling started on May 17 and continues until July 10 in five different rounds. In the main five rounds, Candidates are given three options: Accept & Freeze, Retain & Wait, and Reject & Wait to select from the three available choices. Candidates must understand that five additional rounds will be decisive, so the candidates will have only 'Accept and Freeze' and 'Reject' options in additional rounds 6, 7, 8, 9 & 10.
- if a candidate selects 'Accept & Freeze' it means he/she is willing to accept one of the available offers and do not want to be considered for upgrading to higher preferences.
- if a candidate selects 'Retain & Wait' it means he/she is willing to accept one of the available offers, however, he/she wants to be considered for upgrading to higher preferences.
- if a candidate selects 'Reject & Wait' it means he/she is not willing to accept the available offer, and he/she wants to be considered for upgrading to higher preferences.
GATE CCMT 2025: Counselling Process
Centralized Counselling for M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan. [CCMT] is a common platform for GATE-qualified candidates to take admission to NITs, IIITs & other GFTIs. CCMT 2025 Counselling process consists of three regular rounds, two special rounds (SR) & a national spot round (NSR). CCMT Counselling process has started and will be conducted in rounds. The dates have been released. The first round seat allotment list is NOW AVAILABLE. Candidates and will be given four choices for the allotted seats: Float, Slide, Freeze & Surrender (Participate in the next round).

- Float: Retaining choices of previous rounds & willing to opt for better choices in further rounds.
- Slide: Retaining choices of previous rounds of the same institute & willing to opt for better choices in further rounds.
- Freeze: No change in Seat Allotment, however, willing to opt for category upgradation.
- Surrender (Participate in the next round): No claim on the surrendered seat in further rounds & willing to opt for the better opportunity.

GATE 2025 Cutoff OUT
GATE 2025 cutoffs have been released along with the GATE 2025 results. IISc Bangalore has released the GATE 2025 cutoff report for all branches. GATE cutoffs are the minimum marks required to get admission to MTech, ME, MPlan, or other post-graduation courses in India's most reputed institutions, such as IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs. In general, GATE cutoffs range from 25 to 50 marks out of 100 for various papers, depending on multiple factors, such as the difficulty level of the paper, the number of candidates who appeared for the exam, and more.

Candidates who qualify for the entrance exam can download the GATE Scorecard from the portal. Based on normalisation, the GATE Score is calculated for every candidate on a scale of 0 to 1000. The GATE scorecard will remain valid for three years from the GATE result 2025 declaration date.
How to download GATE 2025 Result?
Candidates can download the GATE results once released using the following steps:
- Open the GATE 2025 official website: gate2025.iitr.ac.in
- Log in using your credentials GOAPS Enrollment ID and password
- Click on GATE 2025 Result
- GATE result will appear in PDF format
- Download and save the PDF

GATE 2025 Scorecard
GATE 2025 Scorecards is released for all qualified candidates. Candidates can download their GATE scorecards for free until May 31, 2025. After that, the scorecard can be downloaded by paying INR 500 until December 31, 2025. Candidates must save a soft copy of the scorecard for all future uses. Candidates must know that hard copies of the GATE Scorecard will not be sent to any candidate.
