Come to IITB to excel in your knowledge and life .
Placements: Almost 100% students got placed. With the highest being around 30 LPA the lowest was around 10 LPA and 14th LPA was the average. Most of the consultancy companies where the high paying one to recruit plus IT companies and few core companies like Reliance Energy and all. Being M.Teach internships are not offered.
Infrastructure: IIT Bombay generally offers modern facilities including fast Wi-Fi modern and well-equipped labs Air conditioned classrooms with proper step seating and projectors and library is the best thing you will SEE here. Hostels are great if you get new ones like H17 H18 they are kind of 5 star rooms but few old hostels are very bad mess food is also great, medical facilities are top notch and free of cost.
Faculty: Faculty members here are the best specifically in terms of knowledge experience and also they are easily accessible if you want any help even at fortnight. Course curriculum is entirely depend on the faculty as autonomy is given to each faculty they can put different weightage to each assignment class test quiz mid sem end sem exam with passing score also dependent on faculty.
Other: Energy is need for the hour and it is a mix of 3 branches chem mech elec. Syllabus is good but somehow it just covers basics. IIT Bombay host the best events every weekend you will have something round the sem different fest continues to happen with mood indigo the best.

IIT-Bombay : A dream of many.
Placements: If I talk about placements, this is the thing IIT's are know for. At IIT-B there is a placement cell which is one of the best in the country. After getting into IIT's you should not worry about placements. At IIT-B 7th sem students are eligible for placements. This year almost 1900 job offers were made by the 350 companies. 300 students also received PPO's. Almost 83% students were placed. If I talk about my course most of the students get foreign internship as EP is research oriented branch and you get chance to work in foreign colleges.
Infrastructure: Talking about my department which is Ep, the facilities are excellent. As Physics is one of the oldest department, infrastructure wise building is not good but from inside it is maintained properly. Labs are equipped with world class modern instruments. Whole campus of iitb is covered with Wi-Fi. Talking about hostels rooms are smaller in some of the hostel but as a fresher you get H-16 which is quite good. All hostel has basic facilities like laundary services, washing machines, dryer, water cooler, gym ( each hostel has separate gym), common room with pool table and foosball, ever hostel has canteen which is open up to 4 am in morning, some old hostels has also basketball, football, badminton courts inside the hostel. As every hostel has separate mess, quality of the food depends on the mess management. Some hostel have very good mess food but some hostel has average but as there are canteen its not a thing you should be concerned.
Faculty: Faculty at iitb is best in country. These are the best mind you gonna find in India. Almost every faculty member is Ph.D. holder and many of them also working on research of new technology. They are really hard working and passionate about their streams. If I talked about relationship with students it is so hill. They try to communicate with us in most informal way possible. They do help us in every kind of academics problems. If I talk about my branch it is bit harder than any other branch. It is a research oriented branch and academics are bit tough. This branch will get you ready for any type of research related jobs and also some electrical core jobs. Some top teach companies open for Ep too along with CS and electrical.
Other: IIT's are know for the peer you find here. The life long relationships that teaches you how to survive in this world. The friends you find here are the best ones. If I talk about campus life. No other college in India is even close to IIT-B. The biggest cultural fest of Asian " the mood indigo" to techfest we have the best events happening right here in IIT-B.

One of the best decision that I took ever.
Placements: Placements are decent in IIT Bombay. Last year the highest package was 3.67 Crores per annum by Janes street company. Average package was about 21 Lacs. Almost 100 percent of students got placed who have applied for it. From Chemical engineering, about 75 percent students get internships in different companies like brain and company, Dr Reddy etc. Top roles offered are Food inspector, Senior engineer at Petroleum extraction unit, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is very nice. The classes are well-equipped with ACs and high-speed Wi-fi. Labs have very high level and expensive equipments. Library is so large and very beautiful with alot of books and references to read. Hostels have nice facilities like automated washing machines, RO water etc. Mess food has alot of variety and it is good to eat.
Faculty: Faculty members are excellent and have very high qualifications. If you are really interested in the course, then they are very helpful. The course curriculum is very relevant and makes students industry ready. The exams are on the higher side for difficulty. About 90 percent of students get passed.

Overall, IIT Bombay is great!
Placements: Placements are definitely something to be looked at. Placements here are great and have been experiencing largely unaffected growth in packages. The highest package offered in the institute is a whopping INR 1.5 crore+, and the average goes up to INR 21 lacs per annum, which is a great number. As far as chemical engineering is concerned, the average package goes around INR 18–19 lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: Hostels here are great to live in. The hostel experience is really memorable for any student. All hostels have 24/7 Wi-Fi access and connectivity. Hostel mess food is also far better than that of other colleges. Also, the hostels are quite safe and secure from the perspective of a girl student.
Faculty: The faculty here is great. All the professors are highly educated and skilled. They are very punctual when it comes to lectures or assignment submissions. The courses here are a bit tough, but they are worth studying. Though one may feel that the curriculum is outdated, it is important to study its origins.

Good environment and life at campus.
Placements: About 8-10% of first year students are placed in MEMS. Packages average around 20 lac per annum. The highest package for last year was 3.67 crore. Top companies hiring include tata steel, and a lot of IT companies also recruit. About 70% of students get internship from this course.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are air conditioned, and have good lighting and Wi-Fi. Libraries are also available for self study and issuing books on various topics. A separate building for the department is also alloted. The food in mess varies from hostel to hostel, and canteen food is okayish. Sports and games are given appropriate attention.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are great and help the students a lot. The teaching quality is great too. Yes, second year onwards the course is really curriculum relevant. The exams require consistent studies, and are harder than expected. The pass percentage around 20-30%. .
