Really good infrastructure at LPU.

Placements: Nearly LPU College's strength is 10,000 students. Approximately 80% students are placed in 2025, and still, companies are coming to place. The remaining 20% of students also placed. I think, actually, LPU is very good for placements, everyone is placed compulsorily.

Infrastructure: In Lovely Professional University, the infrastructure is good, and there are Wi-Fi labs. Classrooms and the library are also good in Lovely Professional University, full Wi-Fi facilities are available, and also good teaching, and one more, sports is one of the favourite activities at LPU.

Faculty: In Lovely Professional University, exams are divided into three parts, continuous assessment, mid-term, and end-term. Also, practice exams are totally 100 marks, out of 100 marks, 40 marks are pass, totally MCQs with negative marking, 60 MCQs, each question is 1 mark.

Other: I chose computer science and engineering for B.Tech because at Lovely Professional University, CSE is a demand course, and placements are good for CSE at Lovely Professional University.

Good teaching, average placements, harsh weather conditions, the worst residential services.

Placements: Currently, I am in the 5th semester, and there are no placements. But there are internships and projects. The average package is 10 LPA, the highest is 62 LPA, and the lowest is approximately 2 or 3 LPA. My course is CSE (Data Science with ML), tied up with Upgrade. Upgrade itself gives special opportunities in placements. Roles are like data scientist, data analyst, machine learning engineer, and full-stack developer.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is the worst; it will work only for exams. Classrooms are okay, but in summers, some air conditioners won't work, and we have to suffer a lot and even can't change the room. The library is a very good place on campus. Hostels are very bad; very poor infrastructure. Food is the worst compared to other universities, and it is not buffet-style. The food is very limited. Medical facilities are very good, and sports people have very good opportunities.

Faculty: Teachers are very good, but some teachers show variation between South Indians and North Indians, like reducing marks in CA's. Teaching quality is good. LPU makes students fit for placements. They have a separate division for placements, which helps us a lot and provides us with very good opportunities. Sem exams are moderate, and the pass percentage is 35.

Other: My course is not that good. I chose it because it has a good future. Events and fests are always held on our campus, and you can enjoy a lot.

Placements: Around 80% of people are placed in our campus placement offers. Many companies come to us every month, and we are happy with this as there is a high placement rate. The highest package is 2 crore, and the lowest may be 4 LPA, as per what I know. This is good.

Infrastructure: Facilities are very good here. We get free Wi-Fi access, and we can get connected to Wi-Fi at all times. There are well-arranged labs on our campus, and classes are also very good. All students have specific charging points to charge their laptops.

Q: Does LPU accept Class 12 marks for admission to various courses?

Yes, Class 12 or equivalent examination are considered for eligibility fulfilment in the UG programmes of LPU. However, the selection criteria is entrance-based. Candidates have to take the LPU National Entrance and Scholarship Test (LPUNEST), in order to get admission. The selection is not directly based on Class 12 scores.

Q: What is the LPU application process for BDes?

The exam fee for LPUNEST (soft copy of LPUNEST KIT) is INR 1,000 for males and INR 500 for females. The printed LPUNEST Kit is INR 1,500 for boys and INR 1,000 for girls. Check below the steps to apply for LPU admission:

Step 1: Visit the official website of LPU and click on the ' Apply Now' tab at the top of the web page.

Step 2: Register on the official admission portal of LPU i.e. LPUADMIT (admission.lpu.in) with basic details such as name, email-id, mobile no., state, gender and password). The email id used during registration will act as the username for the portal and the password needs to be set by the candidate while registering. Candidates can continue to apply for LPUNEST (for scholarship purposes).

However, if Lovely Professional University books the slot for the candidates, the LPU NEST hall ticket 2026 will be generated 48 hours after the application form is received. However, all applications received before the start date of the slot booking will be processed only when the Online Slot Management is activated.
