Q:   Will I get a direct admission in LPU with 65 % marks in Class 12?

A: 

No, Lovely Professional University does not offer direct admission. However, there are few courses to which admission is merit-based.  Aspirants scoring a 65% aggregate have a good chance of getting admission in LPU. Candidates seeking admission must visit the official website of the university to apply online. To apply for LPU, aspirants need to register for LPUNEST for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses. LPU admission to most of the courses is based on LPUNEST score. However, national-level entrance exam scores are also accepted for admission to BA LLB (Hons), MBA, BTech, etc. Candidates must complete Class 12 for UG courses and graduation for PG courses. The selection rounds are followed by counselling and document verification.

Q:   What would be the fees if you take a direct admission in the LPU?

A: 

The fee remains same in both regular and direct admission. LPU fees varies for each course. Below table includes top courses along with their LPU fee:

Q:   Is LPU entrance exam hard?

A: 

LPUNEST is a national level exam for admission to various courses in Lovely Professional University. LPUNEST test forms the basis of eligibility for some programmes and also for the scholarship programmes. The amount of scholarship is determined by the marks and rank obtained by candidates in the exam. LPUNEST 2023 exam pattern elucidates the scheme of the question paper. Candidates seeking admission through LPUNEST 2023 must check the exam pattern prior to starting the preparation. LPUNEST exam pattern imparts details like total number of question, subjects, marking scheme, exam duration, etc. The entrance test is neither hard nor easy. Candidates must prepare well to score the qualifying marks in the entrance exam. 

Q:   What is the last date for LPU admission?

A: 

LPU has released some of the important dates regarding admission 2024.The LPU NEST 2024 application form is scheduled to be available from Sep20, 2023. The slot booking for the exam can be done from Jan 1, 2024. The last date to apply and book slot is Jan 15, 2024. As per schedule, the exam will be conducted from Jan 20, 2024 to Feb 5, 2024. The procedure to book LPU NEST 2024 exam slot can be checked here.  After completing the LPUNEST exam application process, the exam will be conducted as a remote proctored or test centre-based exam. Q:   How can I get admission in LPU for BTech?

A: 

LPU admission to BTech course is based on LPUNEST or JEE Main score. Apart from this, candidates apply for BTech CSE Software Product Engineering need to pass KQ test followed by a PI round. Additionally, candidates need to pass Class 12 in relevant subjects to apply for BTech course. After completion of the selection rounds, candidates need to pay a fee to confirm their seat. Q:   Can I get admission in LPU for BTech without taking JEE Mains?

A: 

Yes, candidates seeking admission to LPU BTech course can also apply via LPUNEST. Apart from accepting a valid JEE Main entrance test score, LPU also conducts the Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test (LPUNEST) for BTech admission. The score of candidates must be equal or above precribed percentage in JEE for exemption from LPUNEST. For scores below the prescribed percentage, candidates will be required to appear for LPUNEST. Only after qualifying LPUNEST, candidates can get admission to the BTech course. In case of JEE Main, candidates must hold the JEE scorecard for verification at the time of counselling.

Q:   Does LPU offer lateral entry to BTech course?

A: 

Yes, LPU offers lateral entry to BTech course. Candidates who have passed three year Diploma after Class 10 in any stream or two year Diploma after Class 12 in non-Medical stream and ELR or BSc (non-Medical) or BSc Computer Science and ELR with at least 50% aggregate can apply for BTech (LE) courses. Q:   What is the last date to apply for admission at LPU?

A: 

LPU applications are open currently. Lovely Professional University is currently accepting applications for UG and PG courses for the academic session 2024-25. The LPU NEST 2024 application form is scheduled to be available from Sep 20, 2023. The slot booking for the exam can be done from Jan 1, 2024. The last date to apply and book slot is Jan 15, 2024. As per schedule, the exam will be conducted from Jan 20, 2024 to Feb 5, 2024. The procedure to book LPU NEST 2024 exam slot can be checked here.  After completing the LPUNEST exam application process, the exam will be conducted as a remote proctored or test centre-based exam. Candidates seeking admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses must register for the LPUNEST entrance test. LPUNEST test forms the basis of eligibility for some courses and also for the scholarship courses. The exam fee for LPUNEST (soft copy of LPUNEST KIT) is INR 1,000 for males and INR 500 for females. The printed LPUNEST Kit is INR 1,500 for boys and INR 1,000 for girls.

'Take Admission' option is now available to all applicants. This means that candidates can qualify for admission through the LPUNEST/ interview process either before or after submitting their application for BTech or MBA course. Candidates are required to follow the below-mentioned steps to fill out the LPU application form: 

Step 1: Visit the official website of LPU and click on the ' Apply Now' tab at the top of the web page. 

Step 2: Register on the official admission portal of LPU i.e. LPUADMIT (admission.lpu.in) with basic details such as name, email-id, mobile no., state, gender and password). The email id used during registration will act as the username for the portal and the password needs to be set by the candidate while registering.  Candidates can continue to apply for LPUNEST (for scholarship purposes). 

Step 3: Pay the application fee and hit on the submit button to complete the application process. 

Documents required at the time of application

  • Recent photograph
  • Mark sheet and passing certificates of Class 10, Class 12 and graduation
  • Qualifying exam certificate/ mark sheet
  • Address proof

Also, students are advised to carry the following documents (both the original and the copy) at the time of reporting at the University campus:

  • Certificate and mark sheet of Class 10 and Class 12
  • Character/ school leaving/ transfer document
  • Entrance test rank/ score card (if applicable)
  • Three passport-size photographs of the student
  • Proof of residence
  • Aadhaar Card of the student and his/her parents
  • A self-attested anti-ragging affidavit signed by both the student and his/her parents
  • Income Affidavit

College faculty is good and their are highly qualified .
Placements: The percentage of students were placed is approximately 80 percentage out of 100 percentage. The highest package is 1 crores, The average package is 7lakhs, The minimum package is 4lakhs rupees. In my opinion college does not matter. The roles of course is in my life is fantastic.
Infrastructure: Infrastructures is good and their is faculty helpful for students. Hostel infrastructure is good and their food is so tasty. But sometimes is not good because so many reasons. The Mess food is three time morning, evening or night. Mess food is sometime good.
Faculty: Teachers are good knowledgeable they are high qualified. The course curriculum is not bad. You work hard and you pay your hardwork. The students are very helpful and the teachers are very highly qualified The average package is 8 Lacs rupees The campus infarstruce is very good.
Other: My course is B.Teach ECE. Events and cultural fest .

Placements: At LPU, you will have many opportunities for the placement department to collaborate with the placement departments of all the big colleges, like IITs, NITs, etc. (IIITS), so its amazing for you to be here. The department is so lovely and chilly. Last year, the highest and lowest packages went to INR 30 and 15 lacs, respectively. The department is amazing, so you will definitely get something.
Infrastructure: The course is tough as the topic concepts are so big. The course department is not so supportive. You will have given a lot of work but you will not be getting support from the department in this course. Basically, in this college, you are going to face a lot of problems. The department does not follow policies.
Faculty: The faculty is so amazing, always ready to guide you to solve your queries. They will always be there to solve your problems. They will help you make the industry ready. They provide tutorial classes where we have close interaction. Teachers are so supportive.

I do not prefer to take admission at this college.
Placements: 70 percent of students are placed in our class. The highest package is INR 6 lacs, and the lowest is INR 2 lacs. Wipro, HCL, etc. are the top recruiting companies. 10 percent of students get internships. The classes are beautiful.
Infrastructure: Our course does not have many amenities. So not interesting about the course. But we do it for the degree only. There are not many facilities in the course, but local facilities are available. The quality of the food in the hostel was bad. And the water supply is not properly maintained in the hostel.
Faculty: The teacher's qualification is not at least a Ph.D. in their subject. Does not make students ready for the industry. More difficult exams are here, and three exams were held in only a single semester. And the pass percentage is 70 percent for students in the exam, even for an average student.
Other: I chose this course only for my degree.

College is absolutely worth it in terms of campus, placements, and everything else.
Placements: After completing their graduation from LPU, students mostly prefer placement as the placement ratio is excellent at LPU; an average of INR 6 lacs per annum is offered every year and students who are highly skilled and have good academic results are mostly placed in good companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and residential facilities at LPU are excellent. Coming to the hostel, rooms are highly furnished with attached washrooms. Mess food and local canteens have quality taste and are hygienic. Students love to stay and study in hostels during the weekends too.
Faculty: At Lovely Professional University, the faculty are highly qualified and full of experience. If we talk about semester exams, they are conducted in a good manner with a lot of strictness that encourages the student to do their work on their own, and 40 is a pass percent out of 100.
Other: LPU is among the best private universities in India. Recently, the university was awarded an A+ grading, which is a very proud moment for LPU. It also gives an average package of 6 LPA and on a daily basis, weekly events happen at LPU, which also gives students non-curriculum support.

Placements: Here is information about the Master of Computer Applications program at Lovely Professional University in 2021. The number of students who get placed successfully every year is 99%. The highest, lowest, and average packages of our course offered are INR 30 lacs, INR 3 lacs, and INR 9 lacs per annum, respectively. The top companies that come every year for recruiting are Meta, Zomato, and Swiggy. The roles offered are web developer, data scientist, and system analyst.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for our course have high-speed internet access available everywhere throughout the campus. The classrooms have biometrics for the attendance of the students, the food menu keeps changing now and then and the quality of the food provided to us is very decent.
Faculty: The MCA teachers at this lovely professional university are quite qualified but they lack experience in terms of practical knowledge.
