LPUNEST is a national-level exam conducted by LPU for admission to various courses. LPUNEST forms the basis of eligibility for some programmes and also for the scholarship programmes. The amount of scholarship is determined by the marks and rank obtained by candidates in the exam. LPUNEST exam pattern elucidates the scheme of the question paper. Candidates seeking admission through LPUNEST must check the exam pattern prior to starting the preparation. LPUNEST exam pattern imparts details like total number of question, subjects, marking scheme, exam duration, etc. The entrance test is neither hard nor easy. Candidates must prepare well to score the qualifying marks in the entrance exam. 

Q:   Will I get a direct admission in LPU with 65 % marks in Class 12?
A: 

LPU does not offer direct admission. However, admission to few courses is merit-based.  Aspirants scoring a 65% aggregate have a good chance of getting admission in LPU. Candidates seeking admission must visit the official website of the university to apply online. To apply for LPU, aspirants need to register for LPUNEST for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses. LPU admission to most of the courses is based on LPUNEST score. However, national-level entrance exam scores are also accepted for admission to BA LLB (Hons), MBA, BTech, etc. Candidates must complete Class 12 for UG courses and graduation for PG courses. The selection rounds are followed by counselling and document verification.

Q:   What is LPU fees for BTech?
A: 

The total fee for BTech range from INR 4.5 lakh -INR 36 lakh. The fee is calculated based on the semester fee.  Admission to BTech course is based on LPUNEST or CUET UG score. After completion of the selection rounds, shortlisted aspirants need to pay the course fee to confirm their admission. Candidates are first required to register with an application fee for LPUNEST. The exam fee for LPUNEST is INR 1,000 for males and INR 500 for females.

Q:   Can I get admission in LPU for BTech without taking JEE Mains?
A: 

Yes, candidates seeking admission to LPU BTech course can also apply via LPUNEST. Apart from accepting a valid JEE Main entrance test score, LPU also conducts the Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test (LPUNEST) for BTech admission. The score of candidates must be equal or above precribed percentage in JEE for exemption from LPUNEST. For scores below the prescribed percentage, candidates will be required to appear for LPUNEST. Only after qualifying LPUNEST, candidates can get admission to the BTech course.

Q:   How can I get admission in LPU for BTech?

LPU offers admission to BTech based on LPUNEST. Candidates apply for BTech CSE Software Product Engineering need to pass KQ test followed by a PI round. Additionally, candidates need to pass Class 12 in relevant subjects to apply for BTech course. After completion of the selection rounds, candidates need to pay a fee to confirm their seat. 

Q:   Does LPU offer lateral entry to BTech course?
A: 

LPU offers lateral entry to BTech course. Candidates must have passed three year Diploma after Class 10 in any stream or two year Diploma after Class 12 in non-Medical stream and ELR or BSc (non-Medical) or BSc Computer Science and ELR with at least 50% aggregate to apply for BTech (LE) courses. LPU NEST application form fee for a soft copy of the LPU NEST 2026 Kit is INR 1000 for boys and girls. The printed copy of the LPU NEST Kit is available for INR 1500 for boys and girls. The application fee can be paid online if the application form is filled out online. The application fee can be given as a demand draft if the application form is submitted offline. If the DD is not enclosed or DD is wrongly drawn, the application form will not be accepted. The application fee has to be paid to submit the application form.

One of the Best Private Colleges.
Placements: The placement scenario for my batch was decent, with around 60-70% of students getting placed throughout the campus drive. The highest package was around 10-20 LPA, with an average of 7 LPA. Top companies include HCL, Amazon, Microsoft, Wipro, Apple, and many more.
Infrastructure: Everything is good about the campus, including Wi-Fi facilities. Transportation is easy since golf carts and cycles are available everywhere. Classes are fully air-conditioned. There are many labs and sports facilities, including a sports complex with an indoor stadium.
Faculty: In the examination hall, teachers are very cooperative with students. Everything is handled easily, and the environment is strict. There’s a no-cheating guarantee, and silence is maintained in the classroom. All teachers are very helpful. All thanks to Lovely Professional University.

Learning Experience: Course content is good.Teacher teaches as per their planned course,they teach us from ppts which common in every college but many teachers are good her expect some.i had to study from online resources like online lectures.the university provides labs and learning platform.
Placements: placements are average as compared to many top colleges but reason is high crowd and quality of crowd studying here but if you have skills you can crack companies visiting here.Some well known companies visit here but competiton is very high due to large number of students here.There is placement cell here which conducts training sessions which are very helpful if you take it seriously.Securing good placement depends on you more than the college role.
Faculty: There is mix of good and average teacher,due to large number of students ,there is many faculty staff which affects quality of teachers and quality of lecture.Curriculum is somewhat updated and they don't put high syllabus on us.Regular assesments are given which are hectic but it has also pro side it helps in maintaining consistency in studies.
Course Support: Course support is good but not very great.LPU provides us support through faculty,mentors and online resourses and portals.you can ask doubt to teachers after class,they are helpful and respond to us.There are doubt clearing and extra classes tooo which are very useful.You can book appointment to mentor,HOD etc for more support.

Satisfied with the course and would recommend it if you have low expectations.
Placements: All the students got placed. Fewer students in our batch make it easier for the placement cell to get us all placed. I was hired as a trainee at Zydus Healthcare Limited. Most of my batchmates were hired for 5 LPA in Amber Enterprises, most of us got at least 2 offer letters.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi and other infrastructure are the best parts of the university. The quality of food in hostels is pretty bad, to be honest, so I wouldn't recommend taking them, but there are food stalls from different parts of India if you need to have some food from your hometown. Also, Domino's and other brands like Subway are present on campus.
Faculty: Teachers are fine, not great, not bad. The teaching quality is the same, but they put in efforts to get us placed and know each one of us individually, which is a great thing. The curriculum is so advanced as compared to local government colleges since they focus on our soft skills and programming language training from semester 1, so we are ready for both core and non-core jobs.
Other: I chose this course because my maternal uncle is also working in this field, and I was pretty sure I'd like this field, working with machines, designing stuff. The things I wished could have improved are that if the courses were more practical and hands-on, with more industrial training, it would have helped us understand the subjects much more easily. The college fests and crowd are the best part about the campus, if u need to have a good student life, I guess LPU is one of the best in India to have so, it's so culturally rich.

It's all about your choice for this MBA course.
Placements: 67% of pupils received assignments. Furthermore, the greatest package is 12 LPA, while the lowest package is 2 LPA. 60% of students get internships at reputable companies. The faculty and the campus are both rather well-equipped. HSBC, Brain & Company, and EY are the top recruiting companies. This programme covers positions such as marketing manager, finance manager, and so on.
Infrastructure: All the requirements are there. The tools needed to get it. Classrooms and labs have requirements. Wi-Fi is available on campus and in the hotel. The hotels are very good with facilities. The food in the mess is also very good. Medical facilities are also available.
Faculty: Most of the instructors here hold PhDs from IITs and NITs. Very useful and informed about the training. All teachers deliver outstanding instruction. Our course curriculum is beneficial to students' knowledge of the subject matter and allows them to explore the professions. The semester exam is easy to pass, with a passing percentage of more than 89%.

Review of LPU - Lovely Professional University.
Placements: In our college, placements are pretty good, but the competition is very high. Our college received so many admissions this year, which is nearly 50 thousand. There is a scope for our batch that we can get better placements if we work hard. For our course, there are low placements. In biotechnology, there are a few core jobs. If we need a well-paying job, then we need to work so hard.
Infrastructure: I can't say that the infrastructure is awesome. Our course blocks are clean and well-managed inside. The outside look is average. But the winning facilities are top grade. There is a Good Wi-Fi speed, which is nearly 10 GB per second, but in working hours, it is 2 to 3 GB per second. It is the same in the hostel as well.
Faculty: Our faculty members are the best. I cannot guarantee that every teacher is the same, but I can say we can often find good faculty members. Good ones always help students in research papers, patents, and exams as well. They give us good pointers for exams, and exams are top in our college. They are conducted very strictly and securely. The paper will be tough, and we need knowledge to answer it.
Other: I chose this course because I love my course. Biotechnology is my dream, and I can say I chose one of the best colleges for it. My course offers the best output for students. I am learning serious knowledge in science and technology. In biotech, we learn not only about Science but also about computers and AI. I wish that our college would improve its practical and industrial knowledge. Our course requires it a lot. All extracurricular activities conducted are good. Events are conducted frequently for students to join.

Placements: About 70-80%+ students were placed in recent batches of 24-25. The highest package is around 24-30 LPA, the lowest package is 3-4 LPA, and the average package is 12-13 LPA. Capgemini, Accenture, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, ITC, Flipkart, HDFC, ICICI, DXC Technology, etc., recruited. 55-65% got internships in Decathlon, HUL, KPMG, Deloitte cognizant etc. Marketing analyst, financial analyst, Fintech, Digital analyst, Product manager, sales analyst, etc., roles are offered.
Infrastructure: 5G Wi-Fi, well-furnished classroom, benches with charging switch, AC, projector and whiteboards. Library with more than 10,000+ books, the latest computer labs, water supplies with a watercooler, garden with sitting benches, greenery flowers, food courts, terrace canteen, malls, sports complex. Hostel rooms are well-established rooms, AC, non-AC (cooler will be there), water cooler in every hostel floor, exercise machines are located in hostel premises, friendly warden, canteen in every hostel, departmental store, mess facilities also available, good food quality, everything is digitally run through UMS, LPU touch app. There are all types of playgrounds.

Other: My course offers both graduate and post graduate degree in 4 years, but after the new education policy, it has changed to five year course. In my course, it took 1 year less time and proper skill set development with more opportunities than BBA and MBA students. No improvement is needed. The course is perfect. There are multiple clubs and sports tournaments, campus fest, and one Indian cultural fest, Holi, Diwali, Dussehra, and dandiya nights. Yes, students can get admission in LPU without LPUNEST if they have scores of other accepted exams. The university conducts LPUNEST as both a scholarship and entrance test. Students can instead submit scores of the following exams as well:

  • CAT/ XAT/ MAT for MBA admission
  • CUET-PG for MSc, MCA, etc.
