LPU offers a huge library system with a total of 11 branches. There are more than 20 lakh books and several e-books available on all subject fields. The library system subscribes to a number of magazines, journals, and newspapers

The residential faculty & staff provide after-hours support and guidance to the students, in case they need any academic or even any life advice. Students have the opportunity to become independent. Students residing on campus can even earn while studying by taking up part-time jobs in libraries, labs, sales, shopping malls, and others

Charges (in INR) for Residential Facility for Academic Session 2026-27: Apartments

There are various facilities available in apartments, like air conditioners, attached washrooms, wooden box beds, study tables, chairs, and an almirah. Students will have to get permission to use electrical gadgets with a maximum load of up to 5 amperes per apartment. One- and two-seater apartments have an attached lobby. There are 24-hour security services available, CCTV surveillance, electricity backup, water supply, staff assistance, and medical services (medicines and tests on payment). Charges (in INR) for Residential Facility for Academic Session 2026-27: Standard Rooms

There are various facilities available in standard hostel rooms and some of them are air conditioners/ air coolers (as availed), attached washrooms, and a geyser in each room. There is a study table, bed, chair, and other facilities available. There is 24-hour security services available, CCTV surveillance available, electricity backup available, water supply, staff assistance, and medical services available (medicines and tests on payment). The university standard hostel rooms have a study room, TV room, lift facility, fire fighting systems, and various other facilities available for students.

Mess Services

Students have the flexibility to either avail the Mess Plan offered by the University or manage their meals independently. Mess Plan is designed in two categories: Standard Food and Ala Carte, which includes a choice of North Indian, South Indian, and Regional Cuisine. North Indian and South Indian food can be opted for within the same hostel mess or at centralised locations. Please know that Regional Cuisine is available at specific locations only.

Laundry Facilities 2026-27

Quality laundry services are available for students on the university campus. The laundry services are offered through the best drying and washing machines using standard chemicals. Information about the laundry facilities is mentioned below:

The Laundry facility is optional. The Charges for Laundry and its administration are INR 5400.
Delivery/ collection is generally done in a bag with the proper identification number of the user at a specified place in the residential compound

Q: How is the infrastructure of LPU?

LPU University offers modern amenities with a state-of-the-art infrastructure to its undergraduate and postgraduate students. With a campus area of around 600 acre of land, LPU offers a number of other facilities to its students apart from regular facilities such as labs and well-equipped classrooms. Some of the prominent ones are as follows:

Q: Is CAT compulsory for MBA in LPU?

CAT is one of the accepting exams for admission to MBA course of LPU. Th university conducts LPUNEST Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to MBA course. It is conducted in online mode every year. The test acts as an Entrance Test as well as Scholarship Test. The amount of scholarship is determined by the marks and rank obtained by candidates in the exam. LPUNEST is a 2.5 hours exam including 125 questions. Apart from LPUNEST, the university also accepts MAT, XAT and other Management entrance exam scores for admission. The shortlisted candidates are further called for GDPI round.

Q: Does LPU provides hostels for BA LLB students?

Hostel facility is provided by LPU. There are multiple sharing rooms. Students can apply for single seater rooms as well. Hostel charges are different for each type of room. The fee for single seater standard AC room is INR 1.5 Lacs per year.

The food in the mess should be better, and the rest of the things are good. There is no problem.

Infrastructure: We have two options, as we can choose a hostel or apartments on the campus. The hostel infrastructure is so good. We have 24/7 Wi-Fi facility, a TV room in every hostel, a particular study room in the hostel, and food is available in the mess, or we can eat in the food court near the hostels.

Reality of Lovely Professional University.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. The college regularly works on improving and updating facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classroom lighting, etc. There are also different sports grounds for different types of sports. Good infrastructure and facilities.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are available and fully functional with smart boards. Wi-Fi service is available in the college as well as the hostel, labs, and library. As I am not a hosteller, so I won't be able to comment about food there, but as heard from the students the facilities are good. Canteens are available everywhere on the campus. Medical facilities are available at all times. Sports facilities are also available.

The lavish green campus is the best thing for a night walk.

Infrastructure: Hostel is good, with a dedicated north/south mess. The food is average but the new hostels are very good. 24-hour Wi-Fi, a study room, AC, etc., are available. The university has a central library which is huge you can find everything. The good thing is the Mac lab where you can do iOS development.

Good college, social, and campus life, but should work on placements and practical exposure.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi and labs are available with proper reagents. There are smart classes. Hostel quality is decent with Wi-Fi and average food. Medical facilities are good, with ambulance support. Sports facilities are good with indoor and outdoor complexes. Moreover students can choose to go wherever they like as there are dedicated playgrounds for every sport such as cricket, football, archery, or indoor and outdoor complexes for basketball, swimming, and a gymnasium, which are subscription-based.

Review of LPU agriculture department.

Infrastructure: This college had a huge campus. It provided facilities like a big farming field with equipment. The classrooms were big in size and had centralized AC and a projector. A huge library was here with a capacity of more than 2000 students. The quality of food was average. The hostel rooms were small in size. All types of sports were played here.

Good campus, infrastructure, and opportunities, but room for improvement.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure at LPU is one of its strongest points. Classrooms are good, Wi-Fi is available across most areas, and there are separate labs for different subjects. The placements in the year 2026 are good. Great infrastructure and a 4-star hotel-like studio.

Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi in the campus block is too good and too fast. Computer labs are awesome. We also have a MAC lab and classrooms are of two types BYOD (bring your own device) and normal classrooms. The quality of food in the hostel is good, and the hostel canteen food is delicious.

Placements and infrastructure of LPU.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is really good. The whole campus is AC and Wi-Fi-enabled. All classes are smart classes. Wi-Fi and AC are working properly. We have BYOD labs and Mac labs are available. Lift and ambulance facilities are available. Hostel facilities are also good. We have 24/7 power backup, Wi-Fi, and water. AC rooms and cooler rooms are available. Food is good we have an open gym free for all in every hostel.

Overall, university is okay. There is nothing much to say about it.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is nice. Everything a person requires is there, but it is too expensive, I think. Three meals for Rs. 48,000 a year is too much. Gym, laundry, and extra fests should be included too. Extra charges to use the sports complex feel like looting, to be honest.

Overall, it is a good college.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are pretty good, with a calm and amazing atmosphere. Facilities are good too. The library is also good. The quality of food is okay, not that bad. It depends on how a person is used to eating and what kind of food they prefer. Everything is available.
